Local garage. They did have to treat it and let it cure overnight before remounting.

Turns out not to be a puncture. Rim corrosion allowing air to leak out. All sorted for £30.

Bit of crusty patina. Doubt you will find any of these cars without some cosmetic blemish if you really look close.

Aluminium corrosion is not rust. I have a bit as well. Not overly concerned. No worries with vouchers. No use to me now.

Liking the studs attached to hub. Can't remember last car that had this stud setup. Helps when you get older and less flexible. Obviously a car designed for codgers.

Not a problem. There is a garage a few hundred yards down the road that will sort it. Pirelli tyre with good tread so worth repairing if possible. Might put wheel in my wheelbarrow!

Well. Time to test out the spare in anger. One tyre is losing air. At least tpms works and fault clears when air is replaced.

Talking to the vendor of the car I bought, he really did not have any idea what his car was really worth. All he had to go on was the 20 cars currently for sale on Autotrader. There is no website that tells you the actual sold prices, unlike houses where you can access that info....after 6 months admittedly.

KH51 is getting on a bit. I would want it to have been kept in a garage for most of its life, but service history does look decent and is a dealer so may get a deal. Would be more interested in any rust on underside than paint blemishes on top. It has "uprated" sound/nav system. Again worth a look. What were Scouse red flags?
