  1. £5k enough to kybosh migration plans! And you drive a Lexus. As said above....
  2. Exactly the car you should NEVER buy. Lots of keepers who pass down the problems to the next owner.
  3. Ordered this.
  4. Swiss Tony has a lot to answer for.
  5. Proximity sensors do work! Very loud though. I can see why previous owner turned them off. Radio antenna not budging though.
  6. Need to get a decent trim removal tool. This any good? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224006472602?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=GcNRS7NGRTW&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=-Xw-SSzkQbS&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  7. Well that was a comprehensive an answer as I could have hoped for.
  8. How much boot carpet has to come out to access shock absorber top nuts? Does retractable cover also have to come out?
  9. They stayed firm on the price then?
  10. I had to send 6 photos to get my agreed value. If I asked for £20k agreed they may have questioned it.
  11. Love a long shot.
  12. Obviously when I put the radio on the antenna refused to retract after happily deploying! Some pics after a bit of a wash.
  13. I need replacement front number plate holder. Plastic unit.
  14. New screen as well!! Gave it a cursory wash. Really needs clay barring and machine polishing. But did drive with top down to dry off before stashing away in the garage.
  15. But....most of the slightly crusty undersides will probably see the average owner out! Speeding down the motorway yesterday a stone bounced off the car somewhere. Might rename it Chippy. Can't just keep them wrapped up in the garage
  16. 2006 Jap import in white with RED interior. Pristine underneath. £10k https://www.facebook.com/share/p/7QQcTfaqGWNiiJ5M/
  17. M25 and M11 joy today, and some rain. 280 miles so getting used to it now. Comfy high speed cruiser, no wobbles or vibrations. Collected even more stuff for the big clean up.
  18. I have changed shocks and springs on my Saabs in the past all by myself. Getting too lazy for that malarkey now.
  19. See if I can get it done for a grand all in
  20. And how many hours garage labour? 4 shocks plus front brake pads.
  21. Looking to replace all 4 shocks next. After consideration I think I will not be going down the coilover route. Best price I can find for genuine Lexus shocks is here. https://www.yam6carparts.co.uk/genuine-lexus-front-shock-absorber-lh--rh-48510-80423-12972-p.asp Anyone know a cheaper supplier? And what trade price does LPD give to garages? Front SKU 48510-80423 Rear SKU 48530-80244
  22. A bit lot like that. Quite a strong spring action. You can do it without a clamp if you don't have a camera in your other hand!
  23. Chris Knott I have mine on a classic policy thru them with Aegis. 5000 mile plus guaranteed value. 2008 SC430
  24. Replaced the missing headlight washer cap. Pretty straightforward but without the internet I would not have had a clue!
