  1. Lovely work there.
  2. Box states 48530-80244, but shock itself has code 48530-24270. I presume one code supersedes the other?
  3. Rear shock
  4. Only the best for my little princess.
  5. Few bits arrived today....
  6. Free health check! Sir, we can replace your leaking shocks for £2000? Or am I just cynical?
  7. 2008 one for a decent price. No real details yet. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202402236882271
  8. You should get a new one with a good battery. Every sensor has a unique code that will be programmed into your car by the fitter.
  9. Like a snake eating it's tail.
  10. It does! I also have an ancient aluminium skinned motorhome that is distinctively scabby. On the plus side it keeps the robbers away.
  11. Someone went to the huge trouble of importing and then sold after less than a year?
  12. Another white Jap import....or is the same one? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202402216815678
  13. I have a bad back so can barely get in the bloody car in the garage!
  14. In your case upping the cap may have been a tiny bit more economical than buying a second V8. Our second V8 is a Honda Jazz!
  15. She has good legs
  16. Just front shocks from Japan. Rest UK sourced. Another factor is that I have a 5000 mile annual allowance for insurance. Trip would burn up 4000 of them! .....and fuel costs about double the other car. It will probably rain in Spain as well!
  17. Wife still not convinced we can fit everything in the Lexus for the Spanish trip. (I sort of agree...head and heart!)
  18. Done my shopping! 4 new shocks New front discs and pads All Lexus OEM £741 Might struggle to keep parts AND labour under a grand......I will try though.
  19. Mine work!
  20. https://www.gumtree.com/p/lexus/2005-lexus-sc-430-4.3-2dr-6-auto-convertible-petrol-automatic/1474413167 This is a better link to scam car.
  21. Watch out for this one. It is the Hayling Island car. Scammed. Please view this ad: 2005 Lexus SC 430 4.3 2dr [6] Auto CONVERTIBLE Petrol Automatic, https://www.gumtree.io/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/2005-lexus-sc-430-43-2dr-6-auto-convertible-petrol-automatic/1474413167 Price: £ 6,900 Download the application from the Google Play Store. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gumtree.android
  22. Feel free to post pics and tell us about the car!
  23. Remember GS450h has a tiny boot for a big car! Not as tiny as SC though!
  24. I went from GS450h to SC430 and am pretty happy. I think SC will still be alive at 25 years old. GS would be long dead/ uneconomic.
