  1. Specifically front and rear shock replacement procedures.
  2. Isn't it a fail in UK for MOT if headlamp washers are broken?
  3. Are these the Event Potentum tyres?
  4. Hmmm.....might struggle up the hills. How heavy is the Lexus? 1.7 tonnes?
  5. Was tempted by a spare wheel cover from Japan. £45. Tried to add it onto my order but the buggers wanted to charge shipping for cover as an individual item, not as part of original order. Not sure it would fit over my spare anyway as it is 10mm wider than OEM. Towel will have to do for now! Gone off idea of taking it to Spain now, sadly. 1. It would burn 4000 of my 5000 miles on insurance. 2. Cannot take two folding bicycles. 3. Will be no space for wine and souvenirs. 4. Will cost £600 more in fuel, which affects number 3 above! Jazz it has to be. May try for a smaller Euro trip later in the year.
  6. Fellow motorhomer? I get the same mpg out of both the bus and the Lexus. Sorry, this could be boring.
  7. Oh, a third adage. Keep 'em comin'.
  8. Two things to remember when buying these. No replacement for displacement. Young steel seals the deal.
  9. And the permanent antenna. Shod with Michelins at least which bodes well.
  10. Seems to be perfectly priced.
  11. Pics now available on grey 2008 one.
  12. Basically any decade when we were between 20 and 30 years of age. OK. I will not compromise!
  13. How about 1985-1995? Perfect compromise.
  14. Is an MOT tester allowed to test his own car?
  15. Box states 48530-80244, but shock itself has code 48530-24270. I presume one code supersedes the other?
  16. Only the best for my little princess.
  17. Few bits arrived today....
  18. Free health check! Sir, we can replace your leaking shocks for £2000? Or am I just cynical?
  19. 2008 one for a decent price. No real details yet. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202402236882271
