  1. Which throttle controller do you have. Thoughts? Going to connect mine up tomorrow.
  2. Will see how this compares in daylight. Or its back to black.
  3. Try here. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/lexus-europe/is250c/GSE20R/3947/chassis/4804
  4. Final part arrived. Just have to spray it.
  5. Maybe they get extra warm in use, combined with salty road vapour and a constant flow of air. Perfect rusty combo.
  6. I will give my brackets the full works then.
  7. Every radiator bracket seems to need treatment!
  8. Hope you remembered emergency fuel cap release? Of course you did!
  9. Have to reinstall the boot this weekend.
  10. Just upped the mileage allowance on the classic insurance policy from 5000 to 7500. Still comes in under £400 for the year. I will drive this thing!
  11. Having had all my shocks done I would say this is a much more pressing consideration than a cam belt replace. Looking at my old ones one was shot to hell. A car with replaced shocks AND a new exhaust should be pounced upon!
  12. And just waiting for a flexible child to hook up the other end of this.
  13. Excellent result. Drove 40 miles with new bits on. Less rattle, tighter drive and brakes feel much better. I ended up paying £1060 all in. Lexus quote £2700. This mpg is as high as is achievable over a 40 mile cross country run.
  14. Shocks and discs/pads fitted at the garage today. Collecting the car tomorrow. Throttle controller due tomorrow plus the missing aerial cover and nut. All coming together for departure to Europe in two weeks. Just have to replace all the boot interior now.
  15. Amayama were same price as Lexus for my pads. Much, much cheaper for shocks. Pot luck as to which items are cheaper.
  16. Few weeks not being driven. Flat battery! Noco saves the day. Took it for a quick drive to recharge. Hmmm...this thing does shift. Really quite noisy inside the cabin with all the boot carpeting and the lower back seat removed.
  17. Visual reference.
  18. Marque mention here. https://genius.com/Tori-amos-ireland-lyrics
  19. Rollin' in style! That's us.
  20. I intend to do 4000 miles in 6 weeks! Lightweight.
  21. Not much more than price of a sticker
  22. or a sticker? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186099242288?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=E5-nS2y4Tze&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=-Xw-SSzkQbS&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  23. Will be sticky side facing the world then.
  24. Previous owner fessed up to driving through car wash with aerial raised. New motor unit was fitted but they neglected to put outside cover back on. Maybe was still at car wash. Anyhow, this plastic drive has now snapped. Took whole thing off. Trying to source replacement outside trim and lock nut.
