330 miles today. Landed in the French Basque country. Looks suspiciously like Wales to me.

Roads in Spain are still incredibly undulating and the curves on the motorways are sometimes a bit tight at speed. Very glad I had all new shocks beforehand. Another longish stint today to reach France.

Still avoiding Salamanca!! Roads up to Madrid were bland and empty but managed a staggering average speed. Cruising at 110. Not prepared to say whether kmh or mph.

On the move again. Set off today for a weeks amble back home. Hood up again....heat is about 26 today. Sunset was good last night from the balcony. Tonights nest is Pegalajar. Funfair/Fiesta outside the apartment!

Cadiz it wasn't. Inertia set in and we retired to the pool. Some of these pueblo streets are hairy in the car!

Jacaranda are a sight to behold. First saw them in Sydney. Then a few days ago in Estepona.

I am leaning towards Cadiz.... 2.5 hour drive vs 1 hour drive might tip the balance!

Car is inside garage with double electric doors. Today we have a power cut. Fortunately not planning to drive today. Is going to be a scorcher.

Better to have driven and sweated than never to have driven at all. Or something like that.

Problem to be addressed later. Hot hike and then hot sweaty bodies smearing fluids all over seats. Glad I did not treat the leather before I left. Sorry if this has ruined your dinner. Too hot for roof down today though.

More top down driving but the mountain roads are so tortuously bendy that average speed drops to about 20mph. Luckily the SC encourages lazy driving. Oh, saw another Lexus today. First in 3 weeks. Obvs not a 430.

The lead into the display is delicate. Any bending on it results in intermittent signal. Mine is too flaky to use....cheap Chinese one using nasty Apple connector.
