When I sold my GS450h I took prospective buyer out for a test drive up dual carriageway to show off the power. A lot over national speed limit. He revealed that he was a Met Police officer as we sealed the deal. All smiles.

Entire system has lots of weld repairs. Would rather pre-empt a replacement than it to fail at MOT time and have me scrabbling around to repair/replace.

Oh no. Going to have to do cleany stuff now I am home. Put out the call for a new full exhaust quote, just to reassure myself that this is indeed a money pit.

Bought a fancy new toilet seat today. One that lights up in the night! Obviously made in China. Don't think there is a secret webcam attached. I wonder if it is even possible to buy one made in the UK?

Did not see a single one on my journey thru Europe. Coming back via the tunnel the UK border patrol man complemented me on my car, despite the cars just having passed him were a Maclaren and a Porsche. One with the rather gaudy plate of H1 COP.

Actually occurred pretty much next to a Toyota dealership who helpfully suggested we smash a window to access!!!

Word of advice. Do not lock your car keys in the boot whilst on holiday! 90 minutes later I was on my way again after breakdown man opened car door by squeezing metal rod thru door window. Emergency boot release is under armrest glovebox btw. Embarrassment mostly gone now!
