    Will give it a go. Lot of pressure needed to regain shape. May have to reinforce with plastic offcut first. Number plate held on with bolts atm.

    Proper colour coded Gliptone. Nice match and already dry by the time I put it back in the garage. Definite new squeak to the leather. Was filthy. Last owner was a potato merchant. Literally.

    Three of the four are actually ok. Thinking to stash them in the loft until I need new tyres. Trip to Spain and future swiss trip will put a few miles on current rubber.

    Washed and waxed and put in the loft. Three to go. Not as clean on the inside as Bobs though.

    Paint flake worse on inner wheel and anywhere that holes have been drilled for insert.

    Just unpacked first of the spare wheels. Better than any of mine and thats before washing.

    All about the actual road and conditions. I was doing 110 and my wife didn't even notice on a quiet motorway. Probs could have crept up to 140 before she started shouting.

    Spent this afternoon treating roof seals with gummipflege. Lot of rubber!

    No point holding back. 115k miles on it. Extra few thousand miles is neither here nor there. Get those cars out of their garages and on the road!
