Wine route. Chablis, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Barolo, Morelino di Scansano, Trebbiano/Malvasia, Lambrusco (euww), Barbera, Swiss Valais bonkers varietals. Should keep me busy. But Nebbiolo is my favourite grape so all good....two visits to Piedmont.

Decided on my route down. Nearly sorted out return leg. Will be almost ten weeks in the Lexus. Many miles on crazy Italian roads!!

Just buy it. Then we will all be green with envy. Even as a spares car. Sure your capacious drive can cope.

We do like France. As it is so huge a large chunk of the two months would be spent there anyway, if we do Italy. Don't like to do more than 250 miles in a day as a rule. No need when we have plenty of time to dawdle. May even avoid motorways entirely. Working out a rough route...

Certainly going to dip into Italy. Also planning Sardinia later in the year. Fly drive then...slum it with a cheap hire car.

No indication of reserve. Any blind bidders are pretty much at their top limit. Any folk who have gone to see the car will have already made their offers. Not sure this will sell.

OK Planning another Lexus Euro Roadtrip next year. Two months duration. May and June. Did Spain Portugal this year. Suggestions please..must be a lovely loop....no car ferries.

Sold this morning. Was on its last legs really. Gone to be used for spares. Lots of damp and the mice had climbed aboard. Took a lot out of it on our travels. But very much been there done that. Bit of a relief to get rid of it before the next massive bill.
