Afternoon Folks Update as promised, it didn't fix the problem unfortunately. Replaced the CPS and the 12v battery for good measure. Exact same problem as earlier, other than the engine didn't run for as long and within 300 metres I was turning for home and limping back on hybrid battery. Same codes appeared P0138 (changed 2 of these), P3190, P3193 and P0A0F Any other pearls of wisdom gratefully received please? Thanks, JJTJ

Thanks Steve, do you have any signposts towards the CPS location please? I think (from my internet scour) is that its located on the front right of the block beneath the air filter housing? Just another thought, would I not get a fault code for a defective CPS, or are the other codes sort of masking the root cause? Thanks, JJTJ

Morning Folks, This is a separate thread from my 'RX400H O2 sensors' to try and illicit further responses from the Lexus community please? My 2006 RX400H, starts, drives, warms up and then engine cuts out and I have to limp home on the hybrid battery. I have checked and cleaned the MAF and air filter, checked as far as possible the vacuum hoses and even popped out the front bank of spark plugs. I love driving this car but I am at a loss of what to do next, grateful for anybody who may have a clue please? Codes are as follows - P0138 (changed 2 of these), P3190, P3193 and P0A0F. Thanks for the response Colin, much obliged. I do get water ingress, common with this model. In wet weather it gets a cover placed over it! To the vacuum hoses, assume these are the ones to/from the air filter area please? Thanks, JJTJ

Update Folks, MAF cleaned, as well as the air filter. Car driven this morning and all was well until the car had warmed up, the old symptoms of the car appeared, ie a selection of beeps and warnings and being forced to limp home on the hybrid battery (the engine does restart if you switch on and off though) above codes are still present as well as some new ones - C1259,C1310. Anymore thoughts before I think me and my trusty Lexus have to part ways please? Thanks, JJTJ

Evening Folks, Update on the issue below - changed the O2 sensor (sensor (HO2S) 2, bank 1) and the car ran great for 18 months. The same code reappeared in Dec 23, changed the same sensor and it cleared for a week, sent that sensor back and bought another, ran great again for 1 month. Today the following popped up: P0138, P3190, P3193 and P0A0F The car ran rough for a bit, stopped and restarted. Continued home and all appeared to be running OK, the Check Hybrid System lights remained illuminated though. Any thoughts please folks MAF, another sensor change,Hybrid battery starting to fail...? Evening folks, I have an Engine light showing, it indicates the O2 sensors need to be changed. Can anyone signpost me to where I can purchase these items from please? My garage tells me they are on back order but he can’t source them. Can anyone of you help please? Thanks JJTJ

Evening Folks, Finally cleared the fault and everything is back to normal, the issue was a leaking sun/moonroof blocked drain.... Herbie et al, kindly guided me towards the US Lexus forums and its all there in a fair amount of detail and not overly difficult to diagnose and fix either. To stop the water collecting in that piece of box section/cavity I removed the front bolt holding the black sill cover on and worked the little plastic drain loose. (It reminded me of one of those kayak type drain plugs) As I said above the internal grommets inboard of that area yielded a fair amount of water also. So I've dried out the passenger foot well and the two of the dash lights went off automatically, I cleared the 3rd with my Veepak OBD reader and she running like a dream again. Thanks to all (on both sides of the pond) to remove my pond from the footwell! Regards, JJTJ

Evening Colin and Herbie, Many thanks for your useful tips above. So I have exactly that, a sunroof drain problem, the carpet is up and drying as we speak. I did remove a grommet (slightly inboard from the recognised drain) and a lot of water came out from both sides but its only really the passenger side that was wet. My question is whether you managed to insert a piece of wire into the recognised drain to clear it please? I couldn't seem to be able to locate that drain grommet from under the car, is behind the black trunking/skirt below the sill? Now the wait continues and hopefully the Check Hybrid/VSC lights rectify themselves! Thanks again JJTJ
