Don't know to what depth, but hasn't this been discussed before, about sub-dividing the IS sub forum into old and new IS.
Maybe a poll to the members, would find out if it was required/desired or not.

..... I was hoping it's worth maybe £7000 The chromes alone would cost 2k.
That's the only problem with modding (pimping ) it's as good as lost money. The number of potential buyers is reduced to those who have the same taste. You only have to look at what peeps sell their bits for on here - fraction of the cost new

My, my, my, what can i say. I can't believe people have taken this so personally. Haven't been able to log on since midday yesterday and bu**ery, missed all the whining last night cos of it.
Currently stuck in CDG airport after missing connecting flight due to Air France having the continious ability to delay flights and not give a t*ss - 8hrs in this sh*t hole.
Listen peeps, if you want to stick something in - post it - then let the banter and jovial abuse begin - it could be a lot worse than not being personally asked - you could get 5 days leave then have to spend one of them in a fri**ing french airport.
CHILL OUT PEEPS :P
@ aido
- it must just be me but I look at it and see Heels in Motion and it makes my mind wander :PFrom what i've read of your posts in the past, it doesn't take a lot

Also, as Mike says, you are leaving your self wide open for copyright issues at a later stage, when the designer suddenly realises he can claim a substancial amount of cash.
As previously said, by myself and tdiplc, legal arrangements are made between WIM and the other party so that the copyright transfers to WIM, in exchange for cash, sevices or whatever.
If this is adhered to then there is no further problem, if it doesn't work out and no agreement can be reached then Tony goes another way.
If the legalities are sorted, what's the problem?
I would have thought that the joint venture being undertaken would have had some legal intervention anyway..... but i may be wrong.

Maybe Tony should offer a reward or prize for the winning effort. Ownership then passes to WIM. That would see justice done, payments made and cirumnavigation of any potential copyright issues.
Any thoughts? Maybe a free geometry calibration?
That was my thoughts, but it MUST be made clear that the copyright becomes the property of WIM.
No abuse.... looks dam nice :)Good job there mate.. simple but very effective.Maybe finish it off with a wheel/alloy at the end?
I like that logo. Well done :DI like that Decker, simple, effective, eye catching sweet nice workRight embarrassed now guys

If this is done on an informal basis, there is a real termites nest of copyright issues waiting to be opened
If someone does decide to do something sensible then I would have thought that some sort of lawful agreemnet could be sorted between WIM and the individual as regards copyright ownership
I wasn't talking so much about copying previously copyrighted designs, rather the matter of who would own the copyright on the proposed WIM design - the designer or WIM?
Full agreement, as previous, that would have to be a legality prior to it's use. The parties would have to come to a mutual agreement.

Supercharger money that mate. :D
Well, secondhand supercharger money, anyways :winky:

You are probably right
Maybe one of the members has some experience of copyright law
It's way too complex for me though:duh: but I would have thought that as long as you don't knowingly copy anything that has previously been published it would be ok. If someone does decide to do something sensible then I would have thought that some sort of lawful agreemnet could be sorted between WIM and the individual as regards copyright ownership
Maybe i'm talking through my ar*e, and should stick to what I do know :P

Drivers of silver cars, such as Freddie Flintoff in his silver VW Touareg are quietly confident and cool, calm and slightly aloof
Yeah, sounds about right :P

Hello Peeps,
Just a quickie, when did the grey piping on the leather seats come in on the IS.
I'm a poor man who could only afford a 2001 'S'
My mate has the cream interior in his sport which is a 52 plate, but it wouldn't be on that anyway.
Have aquired, legitimately before you all ask, a leather interior which has the grey piping on the seats :D
Thanks
