Update to my IS 250 for sale. I am pleased to be able to report that I have found a very strong contender in the LS line. I do nevertheless want to stress that this process is just in the preliminary stages, but I’m much more optimistic about both the vendor and the vehicle than with previous propositions. Should the purchase come to fruition my already described (see previous posts) IS 250 SE-L will definitely be available for purchase. Should you be genuinely interested and are in a viable position to complete a purchase please register that interest here along with contact details. I can then directly message you with up to date information/progress. Hope that this represents good news to those that previously expressed a possible interest in this pristine example of the IS.

Despite South West Lexus (SWL) website still being available and showing business as usual, Companies House has yet to strike out this trader. I have written twice now asking them for an explanation as to the lack of progress in shutting this business down. Also worth noting, the same cars on SWL are advertised on eBay and Gumtree to name but two other sites, but with differing locations and prices. The black LS can be found with the seller being referred to as ‘Alan’, different contact number but exactly the same image of the car on Mr C’s driveway. Finally, on the SWL website, details of a car soon to be available are provided. If true, he’s clearly not displaying any pro-activity in closing this particular outfit. AVOID....like COVID-19

Sorry to hear of more LOC members being affected so badly by this invisible enemy. Our middle child is currently v unwell with all the medical professionals say it is CV-19. Thus far, NHS won’t test him. Timing of a test is absolutely crucial and with our child they’ve missed the boat. From our experience it’s not as the public are being assured and told by HMG😡.

Hi Graham, Thanks for your contribution - all noted. Think most car outlets have closed. The one in question certainly has for the foreseeable. I don’t have the kahoonas to buy remotely. Seeing is believing. Touching is even better. If I were to pursue thIs proposition I’d have no option other than to travel to Middlesex. That would only be undertaken after a satisfactory form of due diligence to minimise the chances of it wasting everyone’s time. Hope that makes sense. Thus far, this dealership sounds to be ok as not had any members sounding alarm bells or notes of caution. However, this thread is but young!! PeteTxP

Hello, May I please throw out a question, to the body (sorry!) of the LOC community, regarding Lexus Twickenham? Has anyone had any dealings good or bad over the last year or two with the Sales Dept? How was your experience? Did you deal with a particular member of the Sales Team? Did you buy from them? Would you recommend them? I suppose, upon reflection, I’m gently asking for a review. If there is a club member with some knowledge or wisdom of this dealership I’d be very pleased if they would share it. If you’d prefer to be discreet, then just say and PM me instead.
