  1. I suspect the answer is no. The age of the car plus your system is not shown as a compatible system. Later CT systems can, but it is not really worth the effort, very little is actually available from the connected services. Pretty much limited to; sent route to car; find my car; and traffic congestion warnings. All the basic functions of Lexus link work but they are not that good. You are not missing anything.
  2. This is likely true. Later models have this function, it appears on the map or on the screen with the instruments depending upon your screen size and software.
  3. That would suggest that they are aware of an issue similar to yours, even if only seen in the US so far! Given that your car would not know its own location, perhaps they could at least check the issue that has been identified, if only to rule it out.
  4. I would expect a normal key fob battery to last at least 18 to 24 months, sometimes more. Lexus recommend changing every two years, so your experience is clearly not normal and indicates a fault. Over to the dealer.
  5. Perhaps your dealer should try to find out what the problem could be! This is not normal and they know that. Or ask them to replace the key fobs as they are clearly faulty, again this is clearly not normal behaviour.
  6. Great news.
  7. Sounds good. Read this. https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/warranty/lexus-warranty
  8. Have to say I have turned it off on my car, it becomes annoying in the end.
  9. I take it that this is not a Lexus Dealer! The 10 year warranty is linked and dependant upon the servicing having been carried out at a Lexus Dealer. Can the dealer provide proof of a current one year Relax warranty, provided by a Lexus Dealer who carried out the relevant Lexus service? The ten year warranty is issued year by year, based upon a Lexus service being carried out by a Lexus dealer. Hope this helps.
  10. Music and car.
  11. Great choice by the way.
  12. Try a CD cleaner disk.
  13. I find that Bosch work very well.
  14. Never experienced this but the following comes to mind. Use the Air con all the time, if left off it will smell when used. Empty the washer bottle, flush a couple of times, then fill with a nice smelling screen wash. If it still smells then the problem is elsewhere.
  15. Just replaced all four on my CT, the dealer (Lexus) recommended Nexen. Seem pretty good and the price was very good.
  16. Amazing how poor some of the locks appear to be.
  17. I was getting around 62mpg, last week or two now down to 55/56mpg. Cold weather certainly makes a difference. Now using heated seats and the heater, the engine is running for longer periods. Still pretty good.
  18. Ask yourself, if was a simple fix, why not sort it out before selling the car.
  19. The Bosch I have are very good and not noisy.
  20. Hi Joel, changed mine recently and brought Bosch (they were on offer 50% off), seem pretty good so far.
  21. We know that John, I think you will find the recent responses were for Eddie.
  22. Hi Eddie, They could download the software to a sim card (do they mean micro memory card), you could offer to pay for the sim card. Otherwise there are a number of web sites which offer the Lexus sim (micro memory card) cards at much lower prices and from comments on this site they seem to work.
  23. Well now you mention it. 😛
  24. That is strange John, both of the USB points in mine charge phones and tablets. If I need more I use something like this. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Charging-Adapter-Samsung-Universal-Charger-Black/dp/B0927TBPR7/ref=asc_df_B0927TBPR7/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=535148305381&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9659149606636131690&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1007091&hvtargid=pla-1457040679917&psc=1
  25. Annoying but hopefully a simple fix.
