  1. Looking for a lighter more humorous view, a quick google search comes up with these questions and answers about cycling. They might explain a lot. Have a lovely day everyone. 😁 Peace and love to all. Why is cycling so addictive? That high can also apply to cycling, because cardiovascular exercise releases more endorphins than other forms of exercise, and that's the problem: the more of them you release, the better you feel and the more you crave. Exercise really can become like a drug. Why do cyclists get so angry? A bike rage incident can start because a cyclist, driver, or pedestrian believes that another road user was being discourteous, breaking traffic rules, or in many cases because someone felt that their safety was being compromised by the actions of another road user. Why do cyclists get boners? It doesn't always happen, usually it's when I'm racing (on the TT bike) or training (on the road bike) or indeed on the turbo. My concern is that it's indicative of pressure being released, causing a potentially embarrassing 'semi' post race/ride as the blood rushes back and that this could cause problems long term.
  2. Why would that amaze me, I am one of them. Unlike some I hold balanced views, not obsessive views.
  3. Just no helping some people.
  4. I would agree that you should not be waiting 20 minutes to notice a rise in warmth, mine never takes more than a couple of minutes and the heated seats cover that period. However I always leave the system on Auto and let it do its job. Try that first, if still the same get it checked out.
  5. Good for you. If you believe your responses over the last hour were achieving that, then I am happy for you.
  6. @Malcolmw Trying to converse with cyclists using common sense and logic would appear to be a waste of time, given the responses some of them make on this forum. Remember as a car driver you are always wrong.
  7. Never put mine higher than 24. if you want to take the chill off use the heated seats while the cabin warms up.
  8. If it is not you it is Doog, take a chill pill lads and change the record. Yes some motorists regularly break the law and do stupid things, and many cyclists do the same, just accept it. You are on a car forum, expect a bit of stick toward cyclists. 😁
  9. It will however Malcolm, be recorded as a claim and the price of insurance will be increased because of the now increased risk. Yes you will have the NCB but it will be against a higher price of insurance. Even making contact to ask the question can result in a claim being recorded. Not suggested unless you intend to proceed with a claim.
