  1. I can see it makes sense for some. When you see the pressure to limit car use in numerous cities and towns increasing it makes you wonder how long before the Government start to up the RFL on diesels to force them off the road. I have noticed that the price difference between petrol and diesel seems to have come back, another sign of the Governments longer term plan toward diesel?
  2. I am amazed how many new very pricey diesels I see around, people still seem to be buying them, (perhaps they are fleet cars). Agree currently petrol or hybrid seem the more sensible choices.
  3. That sounds better, if you can get a 6 month warranty and a price under £6.5K, then you may have found the car you have always wanted. Good luck.
  4. I have learnt however, that when you read the words powered folding mirrors, do not assume (I know) that means folding upon locking.
  5. Thank you Sir, that is a complement worth having.

  7. What does your PCP documentation say?
  8. Not sure about that John, this is the first car I have had since 2001 that does not have folding mirrors upon locking. Perhaps I just had the higher specc'd versions, but certainly not all higher value. Given that the mirrors can and do fold with the press of a button, why not include folding upon locking? As I said it seems a pointless saving for a car that is generally very well specc'd. I still love the car, and I just press the button upon exit, but I miss that function. I do feel Lexus, have made a mistake in this case.
  9. It is the one obvious thing Lexus seem to have got wrong, this should be standard. It has been standard on many other cars for years. Seems a pointless saving (if that is what it is), for a luxury car.
  10. I know no matter how empty the car park is, when I come back to the car someone has felt the need to park right up against my drivers side. WHY!!!!
  11. Same here, how does that happen?
