Not sure about that John, this is the first car I have had since 2001 that does not have folding mirrors upon locking. Perhaps I just had the higher specc'd versions, but certainly not all higher value. Given that the mirrors can and do fold with the press of a button, why not include folding upon locking? As I said it seems a pointless saving for a car that is generally very well specc'd.
I still love the car, and I just press the button upon exit, but I miss that function.
I do feel Lexus, have made a mistake in this case.
