  1. Could be, should be simple enough to include. Car logic!!
  2. That may be the case for basic CC but not ACC. This clearly adapts to the speed of the traffic with the option to override at any time. Or just drive and control the speed yourself. 😎
  3. Had this on other makes but not on a Toyota or Lexus. However, cruise control does the same thing really.
  4. Given the relationship between Khan and the Met, they probably have to pay double.
  5. Who doesn't have to pay congestion charges? Blue Badge holders. Roadside recovery vehicles. Accredited breakdown vehicles. Vehicles with nine or more seats. Cars that emit 75g/km or less of CO2. Zero-emission vehicles (Fully electric vehicles and any other zero emissions vehicles)
  6. Usually a bug of some sort. Have look around the car and the windscreen.
  7. Yes different systems and different location depending upon the car and if you have RSA. Premium Nav with large screen and RSA will show the speed limits on a small screen within the dash (certainly 2018 onwards), camera location will be shown on the map. Not sure if that applies to the IS300, but the systems are pretty standard across the Lexus range.
  8. Some have tried a company called Satnavshop.
  9. Same with the CT.
  10. Good advice.
  11. As stated use WAV.
  12. The Lexus system needs FAT 32, does not recognise Ext FAT or NTFS. Anything over 32GB with need a converter software to make it FAT 32
  13. Windows 10, windows media player, rip the CD into music library. Transfer to flash drive. It is supposed to be flac compatible, but not perfect. Sound quality is pretty good. You will need to convert the flash drive to FAT 32, which windows cannot do.
  14. Takes time but it is worth it. Have about 200 on a drive currently, add a few when I have some spare time. Works really well.
  15. Same with the front, lights so bright you would never know if they were using the indicators.
  16. Minor service - £305 Major service - £580 Recovery x 2 -£310 MOT x2 - £100 Total = £1295 £43 x24 = £1032
  17. P is a separate button, use when parking or waiting with the engine on.
  18. DRL switch on when you engage drive for the first time when starting the car and stay on until powering down on mine. So will not be on if you just power up the car and sit without engaging drive. If you engage drive and then go back to Park, the DRL should stay on. Or just move the car in drive slightly, then back into park. A 2014 CT will have DRL as shown in the picture above. Some CT's from 2018 have uprated lights with the DRL at the top of the headlight.
  19. On the CT Premium Nav, you suspend a route if you do not want to finish the journey. This remains in the system until you select a new destination and click replace to start a new route. Something like that.
  20. What do you mean Paul? 😁 Something like this? https://www.energylivenews.com/2023/06/27/evs-cause-twice-the-road-damage-of-petrol-vehicles-study-reveals/#:~:text=The study revealed that the,infrastructure%2C according to the report.
  21. Good choice.
