  1. I do regular longer journeys and find the ACC better for mileage when on M or A roads with light traffic. If busy, better to have control yourself as I find I anticipate better and use the hybrid system to best use.
  2. This article mentions this. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-56901363
  3. ICE - In case of emergency.
  4. If you save important numbers as ICE, they will appear to the emergency services to use on that screen even if you have locked the phone.
  5. You can add personal emergency info to your phone's lock screen, like your blood type, allergies and medications. Sign in to your Google Account. Add your emergency info.
  6. Sorry to hear that, hope the C Class proves to be a good car for you.
  7. The App crashed!!! 🤣🤣🤣
  8. Tom Tom systems have always had this option. Surprised if you cannot do this on Google and Waze.
  9. That is disappointing to learn, the previous system which gave you the choice from start up was better I believe. Not all progress is better.
  10. Well, my reading of that article (and others) is exactly that, they tried to shut down negative comments. They was no proof of the misuse of copyright. When asked multiple times, What3Words spokesperson Miriam Frank declined to point to any case where a judicial court has asserted that WhatFreeWords has violated its copyright. They did not like the results the researcher found and tried to shut him up. Read the article. Try this one: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-57156797 It is really simple to find arguments for any point, that is why we end up with opinions. If you are happy, great. Does that mean I am not entitled to an opinion? Debate and discussion requires the acceptance that other views and opinions may exist. Not sure everyone on here understands that. It is good to hear it works well for you and others.
  11. Hi Len, Yes that is one of the many articles available, a simple search will find many more including the BBC. Even that article is not as clear as you make out, read it again. Do you accept the press release of every organisation, stating their own point of view, or do you question? Not everyone believes the hype, there are serious questions to be addressed. Just a different opinion.
  12. Why did I expect that response?
  13. It is also not as good as it claims, negative reviews are threatened with legal action. Not everything is as wonderful as the press make out.
  14. Or the lack of Weetabix.
  15. Sorry John just do not understand the previous comment. Must be my age!
  16. From Monday (1 October 2012) motorists will be given greater rights as new laws banning wheel clamping and towing take effect. It will be an offence to clamp, tow, block-in or immobilise a vehicle without lawful authority on private land under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012. These changes will end abuses by rogue clamping firms who prey on motorists by charging excessive release fees. If clampers break the law, they could be liable to an unlimited fine in the Crown Court or up to £5,000 in a Magistrates Court. So not legal for at least 10 years.
  17. I think it may have been some time ago.
  18. Shame, but I can see why you may feel like that.
  19. As far as I can see price for price the Lexus product via the Lexus web page is much better than that available directly from the AA. A Lexus benefit as such.
