  1. Whips are the party's "enforcers". They work to ensure that their fellow political party legislators attend voting sessions and vote according to their party's official policy. Members who vote against party policy may "lose the whip", being effectively expelled from the party.
  2. Then you miss understand parliament! If the Government want the vote to fail, the whips will be out in force to ensure they vote the correct way. Going against the whips is dangerous to an MP's career, especially new MP's. Unless of course they do not care.
  3. If the system has not ended itself, select suspend guidance from the menu
  4. Not as far as I can work out. Tried. Gave up. Lexus Link function very basic.
  5. !2v battery. Sounds like it is flat, get it checked. Can you charge it at home?
  6. The business' financial and strategic foundations remain sound and our 2023 solvency ratio of 218% (2022: 218%). NFU statement. For reference 100% is considered good.
  7. Wow, talk about a blinkered view. They actually made a group profit of £164M in 2023.
  8. Second this. Eufy are very good, been using them for over a year now, no problems what so ever. Battery lasts 3 to 4 months, takes a couple of hours to charge.
  9. Did not say it did! Just asked if they or any other employer would find that reasonable? I think we know the answer. Almost every industry and supplier have been increasing costs to the consumer at rates in excess of inflation, the Insurance industry more than most. Yet, no thought is given to how the consumer will meet these excess costs. We are told to adjust our expectations. Perhaps the profit expectations should also be adjusted, in difficult economic times (downwards not up). Nothing to do with the bogeyman, just Greed!
  10. Ask yourself, do you think the insurance company would find a 12% increase in salary to all staff, reasonable in this economic climate?
  11. Have you tried to re-pair the phone?
  12. The only way to know you are completely right. 😁
  13. I get that, you tried both and went with the best. Makes sense.
  14. Of course. Clearly your untested opinion is the only one allowed. 😁
  15. What's not true! the poster had not tried the Cruz bars on his car - the IS 300h, the point of the discussion. I owned a pair on a Honda Accord True = accurate or exact.
  16. Great, but the poster had not tried the Cruz bars on his car, they just decided they were going to be noisy. From your experience and mine, how can you know without trying? As you said different aero dynamics!
  17. Strange, I have these on the CT and they are silent. No noise at all.
  18. Another reason not to buy an electric car. How Governments think this is going to work after 2035, is hard to work out.
  19. That seems a lot. Never had an compulsory excess greater than £100, never agree to a voluntary one. These excesses are getting out of hand, just to get insurance!
  20. If this works out as it's currently heading to, then I won't have a declarable claim to put in my renewal surely. Obviously, Axa will know. If they want to use it as an excuse to put up my premium, I'll go elsewhere. Do I need to declare a non-fault accident? Yes. You need to declare all accidents that you’re involved in, regardless of who or what was at fault. Almost every insurance company will have a clause in their policy requiring you to declare any incidents you’ve been involved in while driving in the past five years. If you don’t report something and your insurance provider finds out about it later, they could consider this 'non-disclosure', which could invalidate your policy. They told me they recover the costs from the other parts and my insurance won't be affected. I have no reason to doubt them. Does declaring a non-fault claim affect my insurance? Yes, unfortunately, it will be recorded on your claims history. In many cases, your premiums will go up after you’ve declared a non-fault claim. This is because your insurance provider will view you as a higher risk in future, even if it wasn’t your fault.
  21. Directly, his insurance will go up. So will yours, no fault claim or not. You are now seen as more likely to have a claim. The CMC has increased that cost to all. Cause and effect. The CMC is adding value in my opinion worth (the other insurer) paying for... You do understand that these costs do not come the the other party alone? They are spread across all policy holders by increased premiums. Your insurance company is also facing these costs and you are paying for them. As I said, I am really pleased it worked out for you.
