  1. Yes please. A guide would be amazing. I always assumed that the plunger type mechanism wasn't serviceable.
  2. Thanks Steve much appreciated.
  3. Cheers Steve much appreciated. If you've got part numbers for the gaskets that would be ace.
  4. I'm having real trouble with this to be honest. Cars on around 85k so nothing major. Took the pipe off and cleaned it, tbh I was quite surprised that there wasn't alot of carbon deposits their. Im contemplating replacing the whole egr, it's quite expensive. Wondering if it's a DIY job. When I've inspected the plunger unit (the black cylinder in the middle of the pic above) it seemed really sticky. So when I pushed it in, it was a little reluctant on the way up and down. Is it possible to just replace that part? Before replacing the EGR are there any other diagnostics I can do, it seems to flash P0403 up alot. Just really hoping it's not the manifold.
  5. That's the weird thing... No lights on the car. Could there be a fault code and no warning lights?
  6. Hi Everyone, We have a CT200h in the family (mother in laws) which is a great car. So impressed with it, but unfortunately we are having a few issues. The heater motor was playing up which (I think) we've managed to fix with the help of @me140 s post. Although I made the rookie error of blowing the fuse by using the wrong circuit board. We've also got the door handle trim on the passenger side coming off - guess we can live with it, throw on a cable tie and I'm sorted. The big issue that we've got is... as the car slows and/or stops the car jerks or lurches, she also said it sounded louder... Seem really odd. Wasn't sure if anyone had any experience of the issue? I think its possible transmission related? It's been serviced by Lexus every year on the nose. Also does anyone have a good trusted garage in Leicester (or surrounding) areas. Thanks in advance everyone's already been so helpful.
  7. Hi I've done some more homework. Unfortunately I don't believe you can saw it for 3 individual fuses. This is the part... https://www.lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/parts/lexus-ct/lexus-ct-2010-onwards/lexus-ct-engine-service-kits/lexus-ct-phase-1-50a-30a-30a-fusible-link/ Part number is 90982-08300 CTP1 Think it retails for £17, but is £13.56 on the site. Hopefully this helps someone in the future and fixes my issue.
  8. Nice one mate I'll check those out. Didn't realise that about fuses.
  9. Possibly but don't really want to mess around, as it looks like it just clips in as one unit. Bit strange first time I've seen a fuse like that.
  10. Thanks for all your help got round to doing it today. Made a rookie error and used the circuit board from the IS, doh. Corrected it but I've blown the fuse. Lexus are closed, anyone know where I can get the 3 block fuse from? Or what the part number is?
  11. Hi All, Sorry to revive an old thread. New to forums too so thanks in advance. We have a Lexus CT and the fan sounds horrific, almost certainly the issue above. However, I'm really struggling to remove the motor itself. I'm trying to access it from underneath. I've removed the 3x 8mm bolts and it comes loose (relatively). However there's a wiring harness in the way that it fouls on. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can remove? Really desperate to get it sorted. Huge thanks in advance.
