^^ Same with my NX. When new the car comes only with a high-level user guide and service book, with advice to see the full manuals online. One e-mail to Lexus UK and a couple of days later I received the full set, including navigation, for free.

I've just done this myself, after deciding I would prefer to look things up on paper rather than via a screen (I'm a bit old school). It only took a couple of weeks from sending the email to receiving the manuals today. Good service considering the lockdown, and will give me plenty of bedtime reading! 😀

So the moral of the story is. Its a lovely car, find an excuse to drive it every week.

    🙃

That's certainly what I try and do to keep my 12v Battery charged up. I know a lot of people haven't be able to use their cars as much during this past year or so (myself included as I've been working at home, lockdown etc.), but I generally drive 'the long way round' to any places I need to go to, e.g. food shopping. Helps to charge the Battery up and I'm still able to enjoy driving the car 🙂

  3. I bought my RX from Lexus MK in December 2019, and I have no regrets in doing so. Obviously back then we were in very different times to where we are today, but I live some distance away in Stockport, and the majority of the interactions were via phone and e-mail. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Also I’ve been trying to use a VIN decoder and have tried pretty much every well known one I’ve had experience with. A lot of them don’t seem to recognise the VIN, and others show it as a 2006 Lexus.. and some are correct with the age and model, but have no spec list. Very peculiar.

Hi Nicholas, hello and welcome to the forums. The best VIN decoder I've used previously is this one:

There is also another on the Lexus Tech website:
