So the moral of the story is. Its a lovely car, find an excuse to drive it every week.
🙃
That's certainly what I try and do to keep my 12v Battery charged up. I know a lot of people haven't be able to use their cars as much during this past year or so (myself included as I've been working at home, lockdown etc.), but I generally drive 'the long way round' to any places I need to go to, e.g. food shopping. Helps to charge the Battery up and I'm still able to enjoy driving the car 🙂

So in PR73HX is it the 7 or the 3?
I would say it is the 7.

This may be of interest to a good number of folk on here.
Really useful Vlad, thank you 🤝 - mine is F* - I can see why my insurance is the level it is now 😐

I thought for my RX it was about 45mph when EV is activated, but I'm going to see if I get to 50mph now! 🙂

I've seen this when I cruise away from the petrol station after filling up...until the engine kicks in 😄

Tis just a smooth hop due South on M6 AND M1 Mike !
I guess I meant relatively speaking to where the OP is located 😄 The journey back home after I bought it was sublime though 🙂

I bought my RX from Lexus MK in December 2019, and I have no regrets in doing so. Obviously back then we were in very different times to where we are today, but I live some distance away in Stockport, and the majority of the interactions were via phone and e-mail. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I would agree with the use of Hybrid Assistant. I recently purchase an OBDLink LX to use with Hybrid Assistant/Hybrid Reporter and I have to say it is very good indeed. A wealth of information can be analysed and the real-time functionality of the Hybrid Assistant can help guide you to improve your efficiency and hybrid driving techniques.

And a shorter review of the MK2 from 1995:

I bought this gauge about 7 or 8 years ago, and have had no trouble with it at all. The gauge seems very accurate and it feels like a quality piece of kit:

Although not a used buyer's guide, the other day I stumbled across this review the AA did back in 1991 of the LS400 (courtesy of the wonderful WayBack website):

Also I’ve been trying to use a VIN decoder and have tried pretty much every well known one I’ve had experience with. A lot of them don’t seem to recognise the VIN, and others show it as a 2006 Lexus.. and some are correct with the age and model, but have no spec list. Very peculiar.
Hi Nicholas, hello and welcome to the forums. The best VIN decoder I've used previously is this one:

There is also another on the Lexus Tech website:

It may be worth inquiring if it is possible to fit a plastic protection strip instead (not sure if this is available for the NX). I have one fitted on my RX (came as part of the protection pack already fitted when I bought it):

2018 RX450h No paper manuals?

I've just done this myself, after deciding I would prefer to look things up on paper rather than via a screen (I'm a bit old school). It only took a couple of weeks from sending the email to receiving the manuals today. Good service considering the lockdown, and will give me plenty of bedtime reading! 😀
