  1. I have a 2019 RX450h which has the same size fuel tank. I don't routinely do this, but there was one occasion in the Scottish Highlands when I drove about 40 miles beyond the point at which the on board computer said there was 0 left, and when I finally stopped to brim the tank I managed to put in just over 60 litres. But this would mean there was still over a gallon (in old money) left, good for another 35-40ish miles based on my average fuel consumption.
  2. Ageas/RIAS gave me a competitive quote when I last re-newed.
  3. I've also found that fuel comsumption is heavily affected by ambient temperatures, with a marked difference now we are heading into summer (I tend to average around 38mpg in summer, but only around 30mpg in winter).
  4. My 2019 RX only came with the Quick Start manual, but I was able to order the full manuals free of charge from cr@lexus.co.uk, if your preference is to refer to a printed manual.
  5. I was previously insured with More Than, but they too seemed to have pulled out of the car insurance market. RIAS were quite competitive when I renewed last year.
  6. In the past I've always asked things like does the dealership know if the car has been smoked in previously, or been used to carry pets by the previous owner(s), if these things are an issue for you. But as others have said, a 2020 car should mostly be in very good condition.
  7. Happy Easter everyone! 👍 🐣
  8. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone! 🎄 🙂 🎅
  9. I would say this is a little excessive, but may be down to the driving style of the previous owner. Having said that, the RX is hardly a car to throw into the corners 😄 My 2019 RX still has it's original Bridgestone Duelers, and has about 5mm at the front at 6mm at the rear after 17k miles (owned from 3 months old where it had only done 7 miles).
  10. I too have a pre-facelift 4RX. I also believe this to be true, but sometimes the nav will revert to the national speed limit sign when a speed limit has been displayed and then passed, e.g. temporary speed restriction signs on motorways.
  11. Hi Chaz, welcome to the forums and congrats on your new purchase. I don't often drop the seats in mine - from memory the levers can be a bit stiff - but yes, those levers should drop the back seats down.
  12. This is very sad news. Condolences to all of John's friends and family, he will be a much missed member of this forum.
  13. I've had my pre-facelift 2019 RX 450h for 3 years, no issues whatsoever with seat comfort 🙂
  14. Cheers Piers, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone 🎄 🙂 🎅
  15. My RX is still on the factory fitted Bridgestone Duelers. They seem OK to me, but maybe there are better choices out there. I shall be keeping a look out when mine are needing to be changed 🙂
