  2. hi can anyone tell me if its safe to use the normal wheel nuts with the steel spacesaver wheel please
  3. Hi my 2011 Lexus CT200h currently does not have folding mirrors can anyone tell me if I just change the mirror switches to the newer versions of the ct will they work as the cruise control did or will I have to change the mirror motors as well please
  4. I actually bought a spacesaver for my ct200h from eBay for £20 then I cut the boot tray along the two sides and back as you look at it in the boot. Cut the depth in half on the three sides then push the lower section up inside the top section place it in the boot on top of the space saver to see how far to push it up then pot rivet it together again that way you still have the storage space all be it a little shallower at the backend of the tray.
  5. what did they do, do you know
  6. can anyone help me my ct200h opens all doors on the key but after driving the car and switching off the drivers rear door will not unlock automatically, the button has to be manually moved to the unlock position to get out then it will lock and unlock on the key again.
  7. Just to let you CT200h owners know I have been having an issue with high fuel consumption I.e 33 mpg at best and being an ex mechanic I was looking to sort this problem out myself but alas after quite a few attempts I decided to go to my local Lexus dealer and speak to one of their mechanics, I was in fact quite shocked by what he told me, the first thing he told me was to check my 12v battery was good, this I did and found it to be defective he then said because their was a cell or two down in the 12v battery this would keep the engine running considerably longer in order to try to fully charge it without actually being able to. Anyway I have now replaced my 12v battery and Abracadabra back up to 53 mpg around town so one happy chappie. One worth knowing for future reference for all Lexus owners.
  8. ok thank you Colin
  9. when I do the rear pads do I need to wind the pistons back or are they like the front one please.

  12. Hi all can anyone tell me if I need to plug the ct200h into a computer to change any of the brake pads please.
  13. hi can anyone tell me why my 2011 ct200 keeps changing radio channels on its own please
  14. hi, I have just had my 2011 sat nav updated by lexus at a cost of £256 so its not cheap but can be done.
  15. if your quite handy you can fit cruise control yourself, I have just bought a stalk from eBay for £9.89 and fitted it in literally 10 minutes on my 2011 ct200 nothing else needed works a treat and you only have to remove your airbag.
