Hi

my car has developed an intermittent electrical fault. The steering column does not move, the seat position memory won’t work, the indicators and wipers may or may not work, the PCS warning sometimes comes on, and the key sometimes fails. As I said, it can vary within a few minutes, and sometimes is ok, but may vary whilst driving.

The Lexus garage can’t find or diagnose the cause of the problem so far, but suggest replacing the fuse box and ECU, but are not confident that will fix it!

Has anyone come across this problem before, or can suggest a solution. The ECU alone is going to cost about £1400.
