Hello I just had the engine management light on so took it and had it read he showed me the test result which said Catalytic converter low threshold bank 1 it also looked like bank 2 was the same he was very busy so asked me to go back next week but I wondered if it is usually the same part ? at fault so I can get a idea of costs . thanks for any ideas or help. 2006 RX400H

sorry for the late reply to your post Ian but I added a post sometime ago with a photo of mine could I ask is there just the one RHS on the rx400h ? as I`ve looked all round the car and can only see the one on my driver side rear did you just buy the bolt & ball joint parts that are on ebay ? sorry for all the daft questions but I`m pretty new to these cars I only noticed it had snapped when I changed a wheel

Just like to say hello to all I`ve been looking in for a good while now as I had a LS 250 before I was finding it a little hard to get in and out of due to age and disability so I sold it and got a RX400h which I must say is one of the comfiest cars I`ve had , I`ve already had some help from some friendly & Knowledgeable people on the rx part of the forum

Sorry Richard I had the codes read by a local garage but it was only a basic laptop system he had he was supposed to be getting a gent in who has the correct reader but that was a month ago he said it was coming up with a sensor on the exhaust but with his basic reader he didn`t know if it was anything to do with the catalytic converter so didn`t want to order a sensor if it wasn`t that ? , I just haven`t got back round to sorting it especially as the car is running so well I will have to find someone myself with the correct reader

Hello all I am new to the forum after looking in for a while before buying my Rx 400h 2006 vehicle I hate to be asking for help on my first post but I took the drivers side rear wheel off to check the brakes over and noticed this in the attached photo and wondered if it was important or not as the car is running great apart from a engine light on which I`ve had read and is pointing toward a exhaust sensor ? anyway if anyone could help I`d be very appreciative thank you .
