  1. I'm also fortunate as I work in medical communications and for the most part its business as usual. I also work from home on a regular basis and I count myself very lucky.
  2. I'm not panic buying, merely discussing what is currently going on in society. With regards to panic buying you are preaching to the converted.
  3. Luckily I've got a few days left of supplies, but I'm climbing the walls and need to get out for my own sanity. I'm hoping it will be quiet and expecting minimal stock, anything more will be a bonus 👍
  4. I've spent this week in my house adhering to Government advice during this national emergency. I am heading to the local Sainsbury's later for a weekly shop (if there is anything left) and looking forward to beating on F during this essential trip. 7pm can't come soon enough!
  5. I was in a similar situation last year, I couldn't decide whether to go down the indy or dealership route for servicing. A local dealership offered me a service plan at a discounted price and when combined with inclusive MOTs brought the price almost inline with what the indy quoted. The dealership price was too good to turn down and made the decision for me 👍
  6. There has been an interesting discussion on piston heads over the last couple of days regarding mileage correction and how rife it is. Loads of stories about clocked cars and how you need to do your homework and not just buy on mileage. Apparently the problem is becoming worse due to PCP mileage limits.
  7. I installed the same cheap rear diffuser from eBay and agree with previous comments, great colour match and fits perfectly. Well worth £13 and a couple of screws 👍
  8. I have a S10e and the call quality is fine, I also had no issues with my previous phone (S7).
  9. Not bad, I paid £1.2k for third party cover on my old Clio 16v when I was 19.
  10. Purchased a Clio 16v when I was 19, switched to Lexus two years later as it became tiresome of bits breaking everytime I put my foot down! Decided I wanted realiability and purchased an IS200 at 21. Have since owned all 3 generations of IS over a 15 year period and finally switched to an RCF in 2018 at the ripe old age of 37. Just realised I'm now into my 18th consecutive year as a Lexus owner.
  11. I have a friend who purchased a 570s and sold it within 3 months for a hefty loss. He had nothing but trouble with it and in the end he went back to Porsche. Said he would never own one again after his broke down in Germany and McLaren assist were useless.
  12. No problem, I hope they find the amp and you get it all sorted 👍
  13. Hi Ian The amp is located in the rear right wheel arch area. I removed the boot trim, removed the plastic battery cooling pipe and then was able to access the amp. The amp is fasterned to a bracket, took approx 30mins the first time I removed it.
  14. I had the same issue with my previous car (IS300h), I removed the amp and sent it off for repair, however the amp wasn't broken. I also took my car to a local car audio specialist and he struggled to diagnose the problem. For no apparent reason it started working again and a few weeks later I sold the car.
  15. I've been to RAF Cosford a few times and certainly recommend it as a place to visit 👍
  16. I spent a good 6 months watching the RCF market. My intention was to purchase one approx. 12 months from my initial search, but 6 months later I had one on the drive 👍
  17. I'm a grey man myself 👍
  18. Finally made a decision and decided to go down the dealership route after negotiating a good discount on an immediate service and service plan 👍
  19. Looking forward to less dust and getting them bedded in asap.
  20. I'm having my front pads replaced tomorrow, came up on the MOT as an advisory and was told by the tester the sensor is very close to being triggered. Gone with EBC redstuff pads after having them on a previous car and looking forward to reduce brake squeal 👍
  21. I'm looking to purchase one as a Christmas present to myself 👍
  22. I have my eye on this one: https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32961556574.html?pid=808_0000_0101&spm=a2g0n.search-amp.list.32961556574&aff_trace_key=&aff_platform=msite&m_page_id=3344amp-KqVFN1JPJFBOtjmqU9gbfg1570389904826 I already have my local car audio installer on standby if/when I purchase it. I believe it's pretty much plug and play with only minor modification required.
  23. Have you got a link? I'm going to purchase one in a few weeks but I can only find IS specific models.
  24. Have you tried this site: https://m.buycarparts.co.uk/lexus/rc-gsc1-usc1/107866/10132/brake-disc?brand[0]=65 A member previously linked the website and I saved it for future reference 👍
  25. Yep East Cheshire and it will be an 80 mile round trip if I decide to use them.
