I'm trying to avoid giving my local dealer £96 just to remove the 'POP up hood faulure' message. I've hooked up Carista but to no avail. Help please.

I have this warning having had a nudge. I've bought Carista and ran the diagnostic test. No fault codes came up so I'm not sure what to do as the message is still there. Am I missing something?

Hello Steve. Actually maybe you can help. My IS300H took a nudge recently and the 'hood failure' warning has been showing ever since. The bonnet is fine though and I read the fortuna and someone had the same problem and used Carista sixes to get rid of it. I've purchased the Carista tool and downloaded the app but when I connected it everything was fine and there were no problems recorded. I some to the Carista people and they suggested I done to the driver who used it. I believe I found the review in this group but can't any longer.

Can someone tell me how to use Carista please before I buy it. I've looked on line but the connection doesn't seem to be the same as my car.
