Yea the ct was a 2015 silver f-sport - it was a huge difference in price back in 2019 even with the import and VRT but that was before the Brexit changes came in January 21 - now the added VAT and everything else - it's just not worth it any more unfortunately - otherwise I would have gone over for the is. That being said, I got a great price trading in the ct for the is300h here that I didn't feel too bad! (I nearly got the same price that I imported it for! I never had any issues with the ct, I just wanted something a little bigger but this new car is a different beast!

Joined the Lexus world 2 years ago with a ct200h I brought in from Lexus Glasgow and just last week upgraded to a 'new to me' is300h from Lexus over here. 2016 with only 10,000 miles! Delighted with it. Pre facelift, but the others available were no match for this! Spent some time making it shine as we have got the first bit of sun in a long time!

Looks like it was nothing major! Brought it back to the lexus dealer and who took a second look at it while I took an is300h for a spin! They were great and able to tighten up something and now it's perfect again. Potentially something they missed when replacing the heat shield! Loved the ct though, was a great entry into Lexus for me!

Hi folks, Hoping to pick your brain, picked up this 2015 ct 2 years ago and have had nothing but good things to say about it! - but will be departing the ct club soon and joining the is300h club! (I need a bigger boot!) One bit of work I had done was getting the protective heat shield replaced, (it was marked as advised replacement during visual check at my last service - but only got around to it last week!) Now I'm hearing this strange rattling noise..has anyone heard this before or any theories what might be causing the noise? I'm hoping it's something minor and won't detract from the trade-in value. appreciate any advice!

Likewise, bought a 2015 F Sport last week in Glasgow and the Mirrorlink / USB1 / USB2 options remain greyed out. Can't for the life of me figure out what's going on. i've a Galaxy S9 that actually starts to change into a landscape tablet mode and the screen goes black, but getting no response from the car side of things - until I plug out the phone again. Really wish had this working as it'd be a nice touch.
