    Whilst I appreciate I may well be running the risk of being perceived as supporting the principle of 'cash cows'...... (And I don't!) If people drove safely, and within (whatever) the car ownership and driving rules in force at the time, there would be far fewer requirements for speed cameras, traffic police or tailgating cameras. That my supposition stands no likelihood of reality, then I'm all for whatever equipment is required to improve the risk of people completing their journeys safely.

    Well done Mike, ain't it SO frustrating when a job that we think will take an hour (or so) turns out to become a 'project'! (Reading your previous thread - and the exasperating process you encountered with fuse removal - - I was going to type "Oh - Go get a grip man!" (But thought it may have resulted in you throwing something across the garage 😉 - so I refrained)

    Agree with you Bill. As the pilot of an older car, I too enjoy a lower mpg than the Series 4 models, (and oodles of short, uphill journeys with a cold engine) - consumption winter is 32, and this summer has averaged 36 mpg. Motorway sweet spot is about 60mph.

    As Herbs just mentioned - IF your car's an hybrid, you MUST have the ND11 gas used. I had our aircon re-gassed last month at Lexus Sheffield, and the cost was £79.99 (inc VAT)
