  1. Indeed, it's subjective but I wouldn't want the car without the pan roof. The ML in my current 300h is just superb and I wouldn't want to risk not having the premium system in my next one. As for the AVS, I have it but barely ever use it. 🤷‍♂️
  2. And this is EXACTLY the boat that I am in too. I want both the ML and the panoramic roof and have been waiting since the gen2 model release for one with both on the 450h+. I believe that the 450 F Sport has the ML but not the pan roof, probably because of the extra weight of the AVS, so the F Sport Takumi won't have it either. But the 450 Takumi seems to now have both the ML and the pan roof. I configured a 450 Takumi and the spec I saved shows both items, however the web site "brochure" says it doesn't have the pan roof. I'm going to speak to my friendly dealer person and ask them to confirm absolutely to me which is correct because it's a showstopper for me. Watching this thread with interest. If I find out before you do, I will let you know.
  3. 😂 Thanks, I didn't put him there!... and I'd just vacuumed...🙄
  4. Is this ok or do you want more detail? It's a 2019 though.
  5. Nothing major, some have squeaky boot latches, but there's an easy fix for that, and some have misbehaving front parking sensors, but there's an easy fix for that too. Can't think of anything else common...
  6. My NX300h 2019 model is without any doubt the best car I've ever owned and I can't imagine ever buying another brand at present. I had Nissans before (which weren't bad to be honest). The only problem I've had with this car is that I recently had to pay for trailing arm bush replacements (c.£900) not covered under the warranty and which appears to be a common problem owners are having to pay out for... something to have checked before buying, otherwise I love the car... Hope that helps...
  7. Hi! This was the problem with mine... Hope that helps...
  8. I had problem after problem with OEM wipers and got through 3 pairs, all 3 pairs split within a period of 6 months! I changed to Bosch and so far they've lasted 18 months... They're not as attractive as the OEM ones (have a big central connector piece) but worth it I think.
  9. Well my thoughts are that you're one of the unfortunate ones mate ☹️ I'm sorry I don't have any positive words to cheer you up at all... Interesting that the prices seem different in every dealership!
  10. If you're in the UK, all 2019 models had AWD ("The other important revision for 2019 is that all models in the range now feature all-wheel drive, using our compact and efficient E-Four system.") but you can also tell if you look at the energy distribution screen in the infotainment system. If it shows sending power to the rear wheels then you have AWD.
  11. I believe it would help prevent the abnormal wear yes. Seems that alignment is often ignored when it can so easily be knocked out by potholes, kerbing, even regular speed bumps.
  12. Don't know about that but yes, get it done. My NX300h had abnormal wear on new tyres because the tracking was right out.
  13. I got through 2 sets of OEM wipers on my 300h in the space of 6 months. To the extent I thought there was something up, so changed to Bosch. So far, 18 months later, so good.... right now not sure why the OEM ones kept failing.
  14. Apologies, YES! The Volume knob.
  15. 2019 NX owner and have, a couple of times in 5 years, had this. I don't know what's causing it for you but you don't need to stop and start the car, just press and hold the Power knob in the dashboard until the infotainment system reboots. Hope your manage to sort it, it should be covered under Relax.
  16. You're overthinking things! 😉 I haven't got a new model yet, but personally I wouldn't buy an NX without the pan roof! It's a show stopper.
  17. This may help tremendously! Thank you. Could you possibly confirm the dealership where you had it done and precisely the part they replaced (what did they call them). Did Lexus confirm that the part had been upgraded? Thanks so much 👍🏻
  18. Guys, if you've been affected by this either under warranty replacement or not, please get over to that Facebook group 'Lexus NX Owners Group UK' as per previous post, and take part in the poll. May benefit us all.
  19. Anyone who's on the Facebook group 'Lexus NX Owners Group UK', please see this... https://www.facebook.com/share/p/yAv6zrEUyrLsymYv/ for more. Seems many are experiencing the same issue, with varying warranty results.
  20. Mate, I saw them on the garage video, not over zealous as far as I could see, they were definitely in a very bad way. I got them done there and then but they count as wear and tear.
  21. It seems pretty common then, you're even lower mileage ☹️ ... they not covering yours under Relax either? Do you live near the sea? (My theory)
  22. Irony is, that I've just had to have them replaced as well, £920... not covered by Relax. 42000 miles, 2019 NX. Wondering if this problem is exacerbated by living near the sea because my wife's Mazda's 2017 subframe is looking well corroded...
  23. Yes, squeak is generally when the body contorts slightly.
  24. You're welcome, so pleased it's fixed it for you. I totally agree with you re tape fixing a problem on a luxury vehicle, but it was my dealer that put the tape on first! It's definitely a design issue that has hopefully been resolved on the new model. The tape lasts a few months and I just keep a roll in the car in case it starts up again. Enjoy, it's a beautiful silence, isn't it ☺️
