I went to a tyre centre to have a rear tyre checked for a slow puncture and they asked me to look at something when removing the tyre.
They showed me the loose sensor which they said had just been ‘ floating around ‘ in the tyre. They gave it to me and suggested I take it to the tyre centre that had put on that tyre originally for them to replace. Since that time, a few days ago my tyre pressure warning light remains on even though the tyres are fully inflated. I put a call in to my Lexus garage and they said someone would call me back.
I am confused by this, and will it require the dealer to re-set the tyre pressure warning system ?
I do not want to go back to the original tyre centre until I am more certain of my position.
Any advice will be welcomed.
