Hi all, I've owned my "marmite" motor, as it was once described to me, for about 5 years now. An LS430 would have been my first choice, but the good lady said, "You won't get me driving a big lump like that, but that convertible's quite nice.". So here we are. Its not cosmetically perfect, but that made it even easier to persuade herself to drive it, but it's, mostly, mechanically sound and I do enjoy driving it. I've had to have to roof repainted, twice, under warranty, and renewed a few other bits, so I guess I shouldn't complain for a car of this age (but I do!). Because it doesn't get much use, I tried to sell it last year on AutoTrader, but had little real interest and only a couple of derisory offers, at least derisory vs AutoTrader's valuation. I'll probably try again once this Brexit mess has, one way or another, gone away. My current problem is that the roof won't fold down, so I've now got a question posted in the SC430 forum where I'm getting some guidance from "Neil E", but please feel free to join in the conversation.
