  1. Quick update, all 4 Michelins on now, the ride seems to be smoother, but I may well be imagining things, very happy so far 😁
  2. True that! Just tried to clean mine today 😐
  3. Walk away, service history is king. I wouldn't have bought one without full lexus history, never mind missing history, but like you say, cars can do funny things to you, it's like they're subliminally saying "buy me" sometimes 😂 Like the others say, another one will come.
  4. The squealing from my brakes seems to be less frequent, certainly not noticed it as much. I believe these pads were replaced under warranty due to a different issue prior to my ownership, so they should still be fairly new.
  5. Just do it, life is too short 😁 The GSF cabin is nicer than the RCF's, but I personally prefer the external appearance of the coupe. The back seats are certainly useable in the RCF, much more comfortable than I was expecting.
  6. Ok, purchased my first interior upgrade, I think it looks beautiful, what do you guys reckon?
  7. Personally this was a big thing for me aswell. Rightly or wrongly, I feel more comfortable having done so.
  8. Looks stunning, glad shes found a new home!
  9. It was @Big Rat who had them done I believe, so ages ago. Well before my ownership.
  10. Thanks. I've been honest and said that part of the damage is me, but like I say, the other 2 bits are not. Who knows what they'll say. I doubt I'll get anywhere.
  11. just had them fitted and as soon as I looked at my rear near side I saw some damage that I know wasn’t there before. I pointed it out and I had taken a before pic anyway. I’ve also subsequently spotted where paint has also come off by the wheel badge. The driver side wheel looks spot on. I've emailed them and sent various pics. There was one small area of damage which I caused prior to today, but the rest is new.
  12. They also wear slower than summer tyres, so there are quite a few advantages. I would be fitting them, however Im lucky to have my 05 RX on standby should it be snowy or particularly bad.
  13. I’m amazed they were willing to sell a car, like you say, with 470bhp with rubbish rubber on. Anyway, I knew what I was getting myself into and decided I wouldn’t enter autumn with them on. They are also a hell of a lot cheaper than the RF’s on my last 2 cars! Looking forward to seeing what the difference is with the Michelin’s on.
  14. I really like the look of these inserts, supposedly genuine CF, but from China and it appears LHD only 😏
  15. Me too! I regret not pushing them to change them, I’m not sure how the budget rubber found it’s way on in the first place.
  16. Ok, new shoes ordered, gone with Pilot Sport 4 on each corner for £664, but that may come down a tad with cash back. Couldn’t justify the extra £100 or so for the S’s and the availability isn’t great online. Hopefully made a good choice, at least the ditch finders will be gone.
  17. Thanks for the heads up, just checked again and they are not offering PS4S for the rears, just PS4 and with 4S on the fronts it’s coming out at £702.57.
  18. I much prefer the powder coated look, but then I would 😅 Just sat watching and reading tyre reviews, I can see why one of our members was looking at the Falkens a couple of years ago, they’re not a bad tyre for the money at all. The new Goodyear’s are coming in at a very reasonable £615 ish fitted as well. Starting to get a headache 😩 Any money saved will go towards a new detail and ceramic coat 👍
  19. That’s looking mean😍
  20. Falken Azenis FK510 tyres have been mentioned in another thread and get very good reviews when up against Michelin etc I can get this for £460 plus fitting. Seems very good given the quality of tyre.
  21. I swear by winters too, but I’m not in a position to purchase 2 sets this year and I do have the luxury of a back up car in case of inclement weather this year however. The main aim is to get off this cheap rubber and put some decent stuff between me and the road, I’ve had and currently have Avon’s on cars and they’ve always been good, except I’ve never had a car of this magnitude before. Avon’s are £490 fitted.
  22. Is it nearly £200 better, especially for essentially just long motorway commutes? Essentially anything will probably be better than what’s currently on, I have had Bridgestone before and they wore very quickly (different car), I had Goodyear F1 eagles on my last car and they span up at the slightest hint of a wet surface. The Pirelli Pzero score well. I do 14k a year, so probably a new set every 18-20 months I guess. So it’s worth considering the price difference over the long term. Thanks for the help.
  23. I normally check Camskill, but have never actually used them. Tyreshopper is my usual website, but for some reason the 275’s are massively overpriced with them. Black circles are £564 plus possible cash back (perhaps) for the Yoko’s. I can get the Yoko shipped from a couple of European websites for around £500 plus fitting. Not sure the Michelin’s are worth nearly £200 more. Not much difference between the PS4 and PS4S, about £40-50 depending where you look.
