  1. Thank you for your message miop400, very much appreciated and in fact would make absolute sense. The Lexus techs didn’t have an answer when I was the dealership for a battery problem yesterday. The only thing I would say is that I had an LBX courtesy car for 2 days while my LBX was waiting for a replacement battery to be fitted, the LBX base model I took out worked with my iPhone so a little confusing. Thanks for your response and I’ll wait for a iPhone update then try again. regards Eddie
  2. Thank you Ian, I was in the dealership yesterday having a defective battery replaced (Car is only 4 months old!), I asked about the iPhone issue, they had three technicians looking at the problem and they couldn’t offer a fix! Apart from an iPhone user tech disconnecting the iPhone and reconnecting, and it worked ‘ once’ An interesting answer from miop400 referencing ios18.. Thanks again Eddie
  3. Hi Tel, Thanks for the tip, I’m not sure what you mean when you say blue 2nd screen option on the RH side, but I’m going to have a look at that. regards Ed
  4. okay, any LBX owners had this this, 'Hey Lexus' works and responds fine, use my apple iphone 14 out of the car, 'Hey Siri' fine.. but put the iphone, correctly paired with the LBX.. no response ! tried to disconnect and reconnect the phone, still the same? Use the infotainment phone menu to select 'ask Siri' that works but will not respond to a voice request.. Any one know of a setting that's got to have been overlooked?
  5. I’m currently on my third NX and I agree with that comment, quite poor fuel consumption really..
  6. Well, when my LBX arrives in April I’ll park it next to my wife’s Renault Captur and see how much it resembles…. I’ve driven the LBX which certainly doesn’t feel like a Captur but similarly, in a better way, has a premium feel like my current NX
  7. It was Colin, it's actually quite deep into the cars rear seat backs.. I'm 5.10" in height and my driving position was okay to give reasonable passenger clearance sat behind me, but for a driver who requires more driving space by setting the driver's seat further back, then the rear of the driver's seat to passenger leg room may well be compromised, hence a deeper boot space. My side by side comparison with the a new UX at the dealership (the car I was going to downsize to) showed that the UX boot was, in my view, looked miniscule. The other reason for my change of mind from my NX to UX over my NX to LBX was that having had 3 x NX's and kept them for just over 2 years each, I thing the cars are fabulous, but I think the UX being a smaller version of the NX, it was time to go for a different look, and when you see the LBX, it's a new look.. hybrid too, as opposed to all (no thanks) electric.
  8. Drove one yesterday.. out of Lexus Bolton who have it until Monday.. seems to be circulating the dealerships
  9. Yes, the bigger LBX engine version is likely out next year.. I might even change to that in about 2 yrs
  10. So today I test drove the LBX Takumi Design out of the Lexus Bolton dealership.. as mentioned I’ve been an NX owner three times over but am now entering into retirement.. I was surprised with the LBX, I found it technically advanced (over my 2yr old NX), quiet to drive, handled well, responsive, comfortable.. there was a mention of a small boot space.. well I compared it side by side with a UX and found it to be bigger.. clearly not a NX space but that size boot for me is no longer needed.. so all in all impressed.. Order upgraded and delivery expected mid to end of April
  11. thanks for the response Stephen, yes, interesting to see the video, i have been in contact with the dealership about hovering between downsizing to the UX250 F Sport but dependent on my own thoughts after seeing the LBX myself when it arrives into their stock for prospective customers to see and test drive, etc.. i'll then confirm my order either way.. i must admit that the sizing will be of no issue for me, it's whether I like the car close up..
  12. Well, retirement approaches and my use of NX's that I've owned will soon end as I switch to a 'major' downsize.. I hope that I will not be disappointed with the new LBX Takumi, I understand that the LBX is slightly smaller than the UX (which I was going to go for) but loaded with a lot more knobs and whistles and technology.. I'll see the LBX car at the dealership in December/January but not taking delivery until March-ish.. has anyone on this forum actually seen the LBX close up?
  13. Certainly not my driving style..
  14. I’ll probably ask Lexus to take a look..
  15. That’s true.. not sure how this happened though, certainly not kerbing
