Of course it’s not legal. As I stated a trade price is around £9k anyway so he is trying to nearly double the money and avoid any responsibility. A total cheeky cxxx
Whats wrong with that?

Find some uneven road and be sure you are happy with the ride.

Went April 2023.
bought a new 911 carerra T which was to be my daily.but needed a dog carrier as our Ipace packed up again, and its replacement was delayed. So bought the RS4.
must admit miss the GSF. Would have another 100%.
Really!? After the flavour of 992 911, there is no going back.

Lexus Newcastle couldn’t have been more helpful if they tried. I’ve used the warranty once because I had a suspicion the drivers seat rear section heater was playing up. Without question, they put in a request with Lexus HQ and replaced the whole seat back for free. Will have cost a good chunk if I wanted to buy new…
I’m not sure of the relationship dealers have with Lexus and how much ‘trust’ is involved. I assume that a dealer recommends that something is/isn’t a warranty repair and then request approval from Lexus UK for authorisation. Having a dealer on side must make all the difference….
I too think that the more you push it, the easier it is. It’s not a dead certainty but dealers and Lexus don’t have the resources to actively manage every single query. I can imagine if you make enough fuss they will attempt to appease you to make the problem go away.
X2 on lexus newcastle. Used warranty twice, no fuss.
though the management has changed recently since they moved to scotswood road 😐
lexus relax is certainly different to the warranty they used to offer where you have to pay for it. Its still worth it imo, but don’t expect it to pay for wear and tear.

No longer for sale

Cant comment if its a good “price”. Everything is expensive these days, like FL5 is almost 50k.
Fyi, if you go back to 5 years ago when I got my F, 13 plate isf was selling for 25-28k.if you need space, i would stretch to the Gsf. It is a lot more comfortable if you do a lot of miles and the roads in your area suck. + i believe it will be warranty for another two years.
rc is my numb imo and access to back seat is a pain if you need it regularly

Hi Andy.
I've always run the LC as a second car. I have an M240i as my daily (which is bag of fun with the B58). I fancy having just one car as I'm starting to question 2 x insurance, MOT, servicing.... running costs V the enjoyment of owning two cars.
I also think that life is too short and staying with the LC long term...... may not be the right thing to do. Trust me, selling it will be a big decision.
So, if I go ahead, I'll sell both and look at something like an M2... or similar.
I am in a similar boat.
Running two cars can be puzzling when you balance out fun vs cost vs other cars out there to try.

Isf is a stiff car to begin with. Imo, there is only a fine margin between less stiff and more stiff with the different spring rates. I am on kwv3 and on hindsight, I should have gone for something stiffer like hks hypermax to optimise the drive.

I didnt seem to connect with the gr yaris as well as my grmn. May be like you said, i didnt get enough wheel time to understand and appreciate the gr more.
supercharger whine is addictive.
Though i would be happy to consider it if i ever get offer one at list price

@Pielight have both 🙂 if financially allowed. Dont think you will lose much money from them.
as mentioned above, two very different cars. I dont run a gr yaris, instead run a grmn yaris and an isf. Similar concept i guess, light weight fun hot hatch and a gt/sport car. It is all down to your personal circumstances such as the types of road around you, nature of car use, kids, journey to work (short or long)
Imo gr yaris will be a better “one car does all” compared with the rcf. That is on the basis of better back seats, 4wd for winter use, cheaper to run and probably offer more fun than the rcf within uk road speed legal limit (if this means anything to you).
