Wass, I think all makes are getting on board the hybrid/electric systems it would seem it is a natural progression, the asian market is perhaps trend setting.

Hi 200h I admit there are quite a great deal of plastic in some of the Ioniq range, but as my car is a the Premium SE it smells of leather, with plastic undertones, seriously I don not know what anything smells of, I have no sense of smell, but do remember the test drive was in the base model and was plastic dash and cloth seats.

Hi MadJam My Ioniq is a hybrid self charging, a 2019 model, drove this Saturday 112miles around Cheddar, achieved 73.3 mpg with 4 people in the car. Will see what I get from my Lexus when it comes back from the garage, next week at the earliest.

Hello, Thank you for allowing me to join your Forum. I recently bought a CT200h, a second hybrid car to my Ioniq, and I am really enthused by the car and how it performs. Has taken me a little time to master the Radio/Sat Nav but I am getting there, to be honest the navigation book is not that easy to follow, but I am sure I will get there.

Hi, The Ioniq despite being a 1.6 is little nippier, especially in sport mode, the Ioniq is returning between 63 and 70 mpg (now covered 3k) I own the premium SE which has every extra, lane assist, tiredness warning, distance control, cruise/limiter, full leather, but there is more refinement in the Lexus, lot less plastic. The ride in the Ioniq is a little harsher than the Lexus, the Lexus not so cramped. The radio/satnav in Ioniq is easier to use, has apple and android play, and a wireless charging system, My previous car to the Lexus was a C class 220cdi Coupe Sport AMG line Prem+ and the Lexus suits me just fine.
