  1. The list prices for NX and RX have also been cut.
  2. I've noted that there are fairly significant list price reductions, certainly across the RX and NX ranges. The RX450h+ Premium Plus Pack with Pano roof, special metallic paint and protection pack now £71844 against a previous £74480. Low rate finance and finance contribution still available.
  3. Worth getting this checked. I ran the RX in purely HV mode for a week covering c900 miles and Lexus Link is showing that the car was using electric power for an average 60% of 32 individual journeys including motorways.
  4. I'm unsure as to the reasons but having kept a detailed log of all refuelling/recharging on both the NX and the RX this is the result. Perhaps given the size of the RX I am driving more slowly or there have been efficiency tweaks to the engine/battery over time. I do notice that the hv mode cuts in far more often on the RX. Certainly very impressed by the results.
  5. Hi Tom That's very interesting and very much in line with my outcome so agree that the results we are reporting are pretty amazing! My overall consumption for the round trip (c900 miles) without any charging finished at 50.68mpg (brim to brim). The dashboard was showing 50.1. The bulk of the mileage was motorway (M64/M6/M55) at speeds of 50-70mph which makes the result even more pleasing. Having previously owned a NX450h I never achieved as good economy as this!
  6. Happy motoring Terry. Look forward to you posting some pics!
  7. Starting to notice a number of cars driving around with the green strip on their number plates but clearly they are not EV's! Just spotted a 2006 Hyundai Santa's Fe diesel and 2024 Range Rover Evoque p270e bearing these plates!
  8. Both great cars but personally I would opt for the NX Takumi. I have enjoyed owning both a NX300h and a 450h+. I think it's an ideally proportioned car for manoeuvrability considering today's crowded roads and now owning a RX450h+ I appreciate this all the more!
  9. Don't think you will get a hard copy owners manual. As someone who has enjoyed my whole career in the Printing Industry its sad that printed manuals don't come as standard.
  10. I've got a 2024 Lexus RX450h+, Max NCB, drive 10000 miles per annum SD&P only with car kept on driveway overnight and Lexus Insurance declined to quote! Just who are they insuring?
  11. I have completed the first stage of a similar exercise and after a 313 mile dash south principally on the motorway I refuelled and on a brim to brim calculation I'm getting an amazing 51mpg. Dashboard indicating 48.6.
  12. Try Aviva. They were competitive - not the cheapest but certainly not anywhere near the most expensive!
  13. Quick update on overall fuel consumption. Just filled the tank prior to a long journey today (only my second refuel since taking delivery of the car in March) and on a straight mpg basis I am getting 143.25 miles to the gallon. When including the cost of electrical recharges (overnight charge rate) and converting that to current price of fuel the overall is 95mpg which is considerably higher than the 61.96mpg previously reported. Absolutely delighted with this result and much better than the 77 that I achieved latterly with the NX.
  14. Your local Lexus dealer will be only too keen to sign you up to a service plan. Regarding a collection service I would expect that they offer this however the two minor services don't take long and I have always booked an early appointment and waited in the showroom whilst these are carried out. A plentiful supply of coffee makes the time pass swiftly! For the major service I usually book a courtesy car which is normally available at minimal cost and gives the opportunity to drive another model from the range!
  15. Rear bumper protection strip and boot liner.
  16. I like the cement grey / sand colour combo. I chose Sonic Platinum with the Sand interior for my RX and think it's great.
  17. I have got to say I was quite impressed when I drove the RZ last year. Agree that lack of a rear wiper is a big minus but overall the car felt well constructed and drove well. The range or lack of it was the biggest drawback for me but this has been addressed recently via a software update and the soon to be released revised models. All EVs are suffering huge depreciation and the only safe way to own one at present is through a pcp type deal.
  18. Hi Tom Thanks for this. I'm going to do the same exercise later this month and will report thereafter but expect a result in the mid 40's as you have proved which is excellent for the size/weight of the RX450H+.
  19. Covered a 50 mile round trip today of which 49.5 miles were achieved entirely in EV mode (journey started with an indicated 44) which is my best performance yet. One third of the journey involved motorway travel so pleased overall with this result.
  20. Renewed today with Aviva Premier as in previous years @£660.
  21. If you press unlock and don't open any doors the car will automatically lock after a few minutes and therefore the mirrors will fold also.
  22. Best I ever got when I had my NX450h+ was a 51 mile round trip in pure EV mode which involved a variety of road conditions including motorway. Generally got low to mid 40's.
  23. I've noticed that there is a delay in the wipers going from normal to fast speed. Its almost like they need to build up speed rather than switching immediately! Haven't experienced them "falling asleep" - actually the opposite that once they start on intermittent wipe during drizzle or light rain they don't switch off!
