  1. I have used the battery recharge mode via the ICE and the NX450h+ is a very different car when this is used. Engine noise is greater, it feels sluggish and somehow "heavy". In 13 miles I achieved an additional 6 miles of ev charge however petrol consumption understandably slumped to the low 30's. Not a function that I intend to use regularly.
  2. I never found the NX300H to have an uncomfortable ride. Sure it is firm but the other attributes of the car far outweigh this. Its not a performance car but a vehicle in which you simply waft along in. I thoroughly enjoyed 4 years of trouble free motoring in my NX300H and had the new model not been introduced would happily have kept it. I would say the new 350h is worth the wait and a secondhand 300h would (after a test drive) be a worthy stopgap.
  3. Likewise for me it was a £750 incentive on my 450h+ in March. At that point there was nothing offered on a 350h.
  4. Think you can terminate the agreement and settle after 14 days have elapsed since taking delivery. I previously settled with Toyota finance after making one monthly payment but this was back in 2018. Toyota finance were very easy to deal with.
  5. I ordered my 450h+ last September and took delivery in March this year so reckon that this ETA is pretty realistic. The 350h models appear to be taking far longer. Car is well worth waiting for!
  6. Can't say that I have experienced this issue.
  7. I think I must be deaf too as I am unaware of any sound at low speed!
  8. I was informed that they all went to Derby for quality checking and the fitting of certain accessories.
  9. Have added a further 900 miles over the past three weeks which includes a number of longer journeys. Indeed did a round trip of 360 miles today which was principally on Motorways. After todays refuelling I can report 81.98mpg, which is well below my previous figure but relates to these longer journeys using the ICE. When electrical charging cost on the period is converted to a petrol cost the overall mpg works out at a reasonable 60.47mpg. One point I have noted is that the petrol fuel gauge is pessimistic in that it showed one sector, HV showed 0 miles but there was still 4 gallons in the tank!
  10. I agree that it's not perfect yet but I have to say that it is a huge improvement over the previous generation NX.
  11. I was fortunate in that my 450h+ which was ordered in September 21 was delivered in March this year. During this time there was a price increase and a finance rate rise however my dealer held the figures as per the order. Trade-in had not been agreed until the new vehicle arrived but was "above book".
  12. I noticed exactly the same with my NX450h+ last weekend. Checked that it was just water and where it was "leaking" from. Confirmed it was condensation from the air con system.
  13. I can recommend the Meguiars Hydro Ceramic wax!
  14. Dealer certainly fitted my protection pack as I called in to view the car immediately after it was unloaded from the transporter and it was minus the pack at that stage.
  15. Very smart. Like the colour combination. Happy motoring!
  16. I've already fallen out with this technology. It appears to record one journey in 5 and at the moment is locating my car 30 miles away when in fact its only 30 feet from me. The only disappointing feature of a great car.
  17. Sounds like a good deal under the current circumstances. Lovely colour too!
  18. Looks to be a lovely car and very similar to one I was offered about 7 years ago. It was a 2007 with only 8000 miles on the clock. A colleague of mine eventually bought it and through this elevated my interest in Lexus. The rest is history as they say.....
  19. Absolutely nothing improved as far as I am concerned.
  20. Enjoy many miles of happy and safe motoring.Remember to post some pics!
  21. Until you make a claim and they try to wriggle out of paying! I am not totally convinced that removing the "safety"of RF tyres with standard tyres will be viewed favourably by some insurers.
