Certainly not great client care and way below the Lexus standard. I had the opposite experience with regular updates throughout the order period from September 21 through to the ship docking in February 22 and delivery to Edinburgh in March.

Yes - I get the dance performance with my NX450H and have the tribeam LED with bladescan. Very pleased with them and haven't had oncoming traffic flashing in anger even with them technically on "full beam".

Welcome to the Lexus owners club and Festive Greetings to you. You have a ordered a fantastic car and I wish you happy motoring when you get it. 1 Lexus has a limit of 7Kw as far as I am aware. 2. Infotainment system is relatively straightforward but I am sure the dealer will pair your phone. The Lexus Link app isn't the best however and as far as I am concerned the disappointing feature of the car. Make sure the latest software update has been done. 3. I actually find the Lexus navigation OK and clearly displayed on the HUD etc. Don't think it shows charging points however. Others will promote Android Auto but whilst it is superior I only use the Lexus system. There is much to learn on the day so just take time to become familiar with the basics. It's then a case of self teaching of the more advanced features. It will soon become crystal clear!

If you are proposing a league table of dealers I nominate Lexus Edinburgh. Absolutely fantastic "text book standard" of customer service across all the team. You are certainly made to feel very special. Can't rate them highly enough.

35 actual miles out of a predicted 37 is decent particularly if speeds of up to 70mph were performed.

Having owned a couple of Ford's with the heated screen I can confirm that this was a superb feature and one thing I really miss on my Lexus. They also had heated washer jets!

The EV range now markedly down along with the temperature! Full charge tonight only showing 40.8 miles of range with air con and 48 without. That's over 10% down on summer figures and whilst the true achievable range in the summer months was pretty exact it's now well down. 13 miles of distance today consumed over 18 miles of range.😩

Doors certainly more difficult to open when the temperatures were 4 or 5 below!

I drove a UX for the second time last week as I was given one as a courtesy car. More impressed with it this time around but agree that the boot space is a major drawback.

It will be worth the wait however I was fortunate that my dealer kept me regularly updated from ordering in September 21 to delivery in March this year.

Do what my dealer did to effect a temporary repair - place a foam sponge between the tank cap and the flap. It's enough to allow the flap to be pushed open when you hit the button. No longer a two person job!

Don't quite know how this works as I fiiled the tank this week and got an indicated range on 501 miles. Have since travelled 70 and yet range says 348 and the fuel gauge has reduced by one "bar". ???

Seventh refuelling to date this week and by far my poorest mpg. No doubt a combination of the colder temperatures and long runs using the ICE have contributed but petrol consumption now at 59.38mpg but when the kWh consumed and cost converted to fuel the overall is 42.87mpg - 10 miles per gallon less than my previous poorest. A bit disappointing but still slightly better than I would have achieved in my previous NX300h.

My screen washers and headlamp washers returned to active duty today with temperatures rising to 3 degrees but with a blanket of snow. Today's driving challenge was keeping the radar sensor and front camera clear as snow rapidly built up knocking them out of action. The joys of winter!😰❄️

Hi John I would certainly contact Lexus UK for their take on this as I am pretty sure that the dealers who are replenishing fuel are passing this to them. I know that if you get a courtesy car the dealer bills Lexus UK.

Had the LTA update done on Monday and reported the fuel filler flap issue. Needs a new fuel filler flap mechanism so booked in for January. Was given a petrol refill compliments of Lexus.

The headlamp washers did indeed retract in the milder temperature today however they and the windscreen/tailgate washers still not operational and its "only" minus 1. Definitely a design fault as the washer fluid should be good to minus 10.

Had a bit of a nightmare journey of 220 miles today (mainly motorway) without windscreen or headlamp washers. Had to keep stopping to wash the screen. Temperatures were at best -1 but fell to -9 but the washers refused to work throughout. The headlamp washer units are now stuck in the open position. Any ideas how to remedy??

Hopefully orders will start flowing soon as I believe that the previous production scheduling process according to bodywork colour has been scrapped and orders will be processed on a strict "date placed" basis.

I would certainly hope so.

My NX450H was in for the LTA software update today and to let them have a look at the fuel tank flap issue. Requires a new flap mechanism so car booked back in early next month. The interim solution is a foam pad inserted between the flap and the fuel cap! Primitive but it certainly works!!!

Welcome to the Lexus Owners Club! You will see from the various posts that delivery lead time is a prominent issue. What has been indicated to you seems reasonable to me. Make sure the dealer keeps you updated. I ordered my 450h+ in late September 21 and took delivery in March 22 (although the car actually arrived in late February). In any case you will find that the wait will be worth it as the NX 450h is a simply fantastic car.

Noticeable drop off in EV range over the past week. Full charge in summer gave 46 miles with air con or 52 without. Now indicating 41 miles with and 47 without. Actual achievable distance depends on journey but a mix of local and motorway is giving c 35 miles. ICE certainly cuts in more readily. The joys of winter!
