  1. Hi Ronnie No it's just for the new 2022 models I believe. It's just one of numerous recalls. I believe there are at least another two in the pipeline which is very disappointing. This model launch should have been delayed to address these issues prior to customers taking delivery. Most un-Lexus like! The Lexus Link app is also a source of problems so my patience is wearing thin. I would take my NX300h back in an instant!
  2. Refuelled this evening and an overall consumption of 48.43mpg has resulted which is just slightly less than the average achieved during my first year of ownership. This is petrol purchased plus the cost of the total electrical charges in the period converted to the current price of petrol.
  3. Back to 52.3/48.1 this evening. Yesterday's charge of 47.5 with aircon resulted in an actual 41 on a mix of motorway and urban roads in temperatures of less than the seasonal norm.
  4. Today's totals 52.3/48.1. Actual achieved from previous charge was 41 miles from an indicated 48.4.
  5. I've had XGG78 carried out. It addressed some connectivity issues but others now don't work!
  6. Strange that they didn't do the DCM update. I believe that it had initially been suspended due to some issues which resulted in a few cars that couldn't be driven and requiring new DCM units to be installed. These units were subsequently in short supply and a decision was therefore made to suspend the update until a stock became available again. I also hear that there are a further couple of recalls imminent.☹️
  7. Not had this letter yet. Very annoying particularly when it's issues that should have been addressed prior to launch. The Lexus reputation is being tarnished.
  8. Thanks Paul. That's is really disappointing and if it turns out to be the case with the new NX then they will have lost me as a customer. What is frustrating is that almost all the functions that I am complaining about were working perfectly well but don't now.
  9. Very disappointing Alexander. I am awaiting an update on my Lexus Link issues. Have given them until tomorrow but I am not hopeful. I am told by an industry source that its an easy fix but don't know why Lexus aren't able to do this. Their reputation is being trashed by these issues. Did they carry out the DCM update yesterday?
  10. I had the DCM recall work completed during the routine service last month. Most journeys are now being recorded and total mileage/range are correct. Its just the location, date and inability to lock/unlock the vehicle remotely that needs to be attended to. These functions were working previously but ceased to do so, some prior to and others after the software upgrade.
  11. Yes I agree that it's a great car but the Link app is all part of the ownership experience and it just doesn't work. I can't now for instance lock the car remotely as it says the vehicle is moving! Vehicle journeys are almost all being recorded and service history largely upbto date but vehicle location and date is invariably incorrect. It appears that they address one issue only for another that previously worked to fail. Toyota Europe who appear to give the technical backup are clearly inundated as I am told that a fix could "take some time". This isn't good enough on a £60k premium vehicle and the previous enviable reputation that Lexus enjoyed is under jeopardy. I appreciate that when you purchase a newly introduced model there is a risk that teething issues may arise but the recalls to date and those in the pipeline lead me to believe that the NX was launched prematurely. I await to hear the dealership update this week.

  13. Thanks Alexander. Will be interested to know how you get on at Lexus Edinburgh who I also deal with. I ĥave given them a further week to solve the issues I am experiencing. You will be pleased with the news that Lexus Dundee is due to open in the next year so a bit closer to you!
  14. Friday has arrived and no resolution to the Lexus Link issues by the tech team in Belgium. Have been told it could take some time which is very disappointing say the least. Now contemplating selling as the combination of recalls and Link issues are taking the pleasure away from what is supposed to be a premium product. The upgrade for the exterior door handles to address the cold weather access issues I am told is imminent.
  15. I am having exactly the same issue and tried the trouble shooting procedures without success. BG confirmed that it's an issue that they are working to correct. Can still use the charger but it will not record use.
  16. Tonight's charge 51.5/48.9. Non aircon figure slightly higher but with aircon slightly lower.
  17. Likewise the app update hasn't made any apparent difference.
  18. Patience wearing thin as I am still waiting for Toyota Europe to sort this issue. I was told the app had been updated and to uninstall/ reinstall. Didn't make any difference so have given them until Friday of this week to solve the problem. Incidentally the app does not appear to have been updated.
  19. I have a Hive home charger and the KwH input is recorded on the Hive app. Also shows the cost based upon the current tariff.
  20. That's a good result Andy. The narrowing of the price differential between petrol and electricity hasn't helped and the ending of almost all free charge points is another factor to consider. I did have the advantage for much of my first year of ownership of accessing free recharges (although for calculation purposes I counted these as though they were costing me).Have just returned from a short break in South West Scotland and overall consumption appears to be c54mpg.
  21. That was February of 2022. Asked the dealer to hold until March for me to take delivery.
