Just enquiring how owners of the RX are finding manoeuvrability in tight spaces and parking given the dimensions of the car. If there are any previous NX owners who wish to share their thoughts on moving to the RX that would be useful as well.

Post the update the app keeps warning me that the car is unlocked when clearly this isn't the case! One issue addressed and another appears!

My understanding is that the latest generation of NX (22 MY onwards) and 5th generation RX aren't vulnerable.

Hi Andy, Actually both. I enabled everything in Info & Security but as I indicated this had to be done every time I started the car. Then went onto the navigation option and enabled all features there also. Appears to be working with car location and latest journey recorded.

May have a solution! If you go into the settings section and the navigation option you can enable all the features and by doing so the geolocation "arrows" symbol goes blue. Turned the engine off and on again - the "arrows" remained blue!!!😁

I updated today and followed the instructions regarding enabling connected services however when I turn the engine off and back on again the connected services revert to disabled!!! Any ideas???

I'll hold off from updating!

Anybody willing to share what they are achieving in m/KwH and fuel consumption when using the ICE on their RX450h+ to see how it compares with the equivalent NX?

No it's Graphite Black with Hazel (tan). Was offered an F-Sport with the Black/rich cream trim that I was keen on but would need to have Graphite Black again. My previous NX was Graphite Black so was looking for a change!

Good event, brilliant customer care and hospitality as expected. There appears to be a number of NX450h models available for immediate delivery in the UK with a further shipment en route. Therefore there are no factory orders being accepted at the moment although thats a temporary measure. Cars still being delivered with only one key fob though. There is no known information presently on any tweaks that may be made to the NX for the new model year. Offer to change was competitive and near to the top end of what I expected however the combination of colour, trim and options that I would wish were not currently available. Dealer worked hard to offer alternatives with various incentives but I haven't signed on the dotted line yet!

Just a point to add if you wear denim jeans? In my previous NX I had the ochre (cream) leather upholstery and I regularly had to clean the seat squab, particularly the bolster as it looked creased and was always amazed at how much dye was removed. Seat always came back like new though. Currently have the Hazel leather but minimise the wearing of denim!

No. On the 8th Feb 2023 car was only 11 months old. Its now 23 months with just over 18000 miles on the clock.

Ha, ha Alan. I got a communication late last year to say my finance agreement was "nearing the end" when in fact it had 15 months to run. Queried this with the dealer and it appears its all down to the delivery timescales albeit they are much improved. They said that I would be invited to their VIP event weekend and in fact I am going tomorrow. They have an NX450H f-sport en-route at present and have given me an option on it. Gut feeling is that it's just a bit early for me to change but never say never- if the deal is beyond amazing I may be tempted! Alternatively and like you I may look to order early for delivery later in the year and if so will consider a Takumi.

My NX450H Premium Plus is 2 years old next month and given the delivery timescales I am looking ahead to a possible change. I am considering a NX450h f-sport. Does any member who has moved from a NX450h Premium to a NX f-sport wish to share their thoughts particularly in terms of ride quality?

Certainly doesn't look right! I have had my NX450h for almost 2 years and c18000 miles and seat (Hazel leather) looks as good as new.

Yes. I have noticed that the ICE kicks in with 3 miles of EV indicated. I put it down to the low temperatures of late. Charges still indicating c47 miles or 40 with aircon but actual is nearer 30. Roll on spring!

I've also had a VIP invitation and have an appointment booked. A bit early to change unless the offer is so irresistible!

That's very low. When I had my NX300H I averaged c41 mpg over a 4 year period and 32k miles. I recorded fuel consumption at every fill (brim to brim) from day 1 and never was as low as 28. I got mid tolow 30's in the winter months and as high as mid 40's in summer. I would get this checked.

That solution worked for me on my NX however every time I use the remote climate feature I need to reset.😭

Likewise. I kept the cables in the bag (bit of a wrestle to get them in!) and stored them in the boot. Eventually put them below the boot floor without the bag but also got fed up getting them out and in so they are back in the bag in the boot! Certainly didn't get a European safety kit and guess this must be a requirement now.

Sorry to read of your issue. I had a NX300H for 4 years (2018-2022) and probably experienced this problem on about 6 occasions. Have you tried switching the infotainment system off and on again rather than utilising the start button? I found that this was a cure at times. I think it's just a software quirk which reared its head for no apparent reason. Other than that I enjoyed 4 years of totally trouble free motoring covering 32000 miles supported by a great team at Lexus Edinburgh and hope that you enjoy your NX300 as much as I enjoyed mine.

Likewise but each time I use climate I have to reset and sync my profile!
