There was a similar offer way back in 2022 when it was part of the incentive package with the NX450h+. I took the offer and BG then did a survey of the property. (Survey took about 5 hours!) They wanted to run the cable from the consumer unit but that would have involved lifting floors etc. I suggested that they install a secondary consumer unit from the main meter and switch in the garage which they agreed. I required an upgrade of the main fuse which the network provider undertook. Alfen unit was installed and has been largely reliable however due to poor telecom signal locally I have had issues with connectivity. This meant turning the box off and on to regain the connection. To address this BG eventually agreed to hardwire the charging unit to a signal booster. This has helped but not totally eradicated the signal issue. I believe BG now offer alternative hardware. BG do have a good dedicated help desk which has proved to be useful on the occasions where I required assistance. Hope this helps.

Welcome to the Lexus Owners Club. We like to see pics when you take delivery of your new NX! Regarding car mats I have used carmats4u.com in the past and have found service and quality to be great. They also offer a range of colour, material and trim options.

The panoramic roof is included as an option on 25MY NX450h's. Prior to this it was only a sunroof that was available. (Pano roof was an option on NX350h's) Not sure about the ML sound system though as I understood it was exclusive to the Takumi.

Looks like waiting times are getting longer again so delaying an order will push delivery times further. Ordering now should lock in the purchase price and as you say a cancelled order may appear. I can thoroughly recommend the Premium Plus spec particularly with the panoramic roof.

It appears that the return of extended delivery times is upon us. I know that back in March of this year there was significant UK stock of both the NX and RX and therefore available for delivery within 3 weeks.

I guess that will be the same across all manufacturers.

That's shockingly poor customer service from your local dealer to say the least and the polar opposite to my experience in dealing with my nearest dealership - Lexus Edinburgh - since I first walked into their showroom in 2017.

Quite a few dealers have used RX 450h+ Takumi's advertised so an opportunity to view would be available via this route. It's a great car - I changed from a NX450h+ to the RX450h+ in March. Honestly thought that it would be slightly less economical than the NX but finding that it's actually the opposite!

Think it should take around 93 minutes to go from 20% to 80%???

I ordered a RX450h+ Premium Plus with panoramic roof at the end of February and took delivery in mid March. Had a choice of colours available from UK stock and fortunately the colour combo I wanted was available. I guess the Takumi must be in short supply.

Surely unlocking the car and pulling the charger cable from the charging socket on the car is the answer???

The standard sound system is perfectly adequate as far as I am concerned. Would always recommend that you try to go for Premium Plus trim as a minimum.

No. You can have the radio station, programme details, record playing etc shown or the Hybrid flow indicating the current power source etc.

No. The premium model comes with 18" wheels and "standard" tyres. Premium Plus pack and all grades above have the 20" wheels and rft's as far as I am aware. You can indeed eventually change to non run flats but as you say you shouldn't mix.

Can't say that I have experienced this issue (2024 RX 450h+) apart from when driving in remote spots where the main radio and Internet signal is poor.

Disappointing to hear that the dealership experience has not been good! I have enjoyed the exact opposite since I switched to Lexus in 2018.

I think it takes a number of days for this to update in the app. That was my experience previously.

There are some attractive deals on the Gen5 RX350h/450h+ which are not affected by the canbus theft issues. I went from a NX450h+ to the RX450h+ expecting that running costs would be higher but amazingly the RX is proving to be more economical!

Firstly the canbus issues referred to are not an issue with the NX350h or NX450h+. When I changed from my NX300H to the NX450h+ I described it as going from old school to leading edge. The car is in my opinion superior in every aspect, particularly in terms of infotainment and interior design. I also found it much more economical in that all my local journeys were completed in EV mode. After converting electricity costs (overnight tariff) to petrol costs I was achieving up to 73.66mpg against c41mpg average of the NX300h. If the PCP deal is attractive enough I would recommend going for the 450h+ and if possible stretch to Premium Plus trim. You will also have the added benefit of the manufacturers 3 year initial warranty. Don't get me wrong- the 300h is still a fantastic car and if you can get a low mileage 2020/21 model with full history you won't be disappointed but personally I would go for the new 450h+.
