There's not generally houses on the type of roads enthusiasts like to drive, I also dont think this will see people flocking to a stretch of road in their thousands.
I for one would be interested to see if it threw up some roads close to home I was not aware of
It’s not just the proximity of houses, it’s the potential nuisance to other road users.
Just Google ‘Evo Triangle’ to get an understanding of how Evo Magazine has promoted this section of road. e.g. https://www.darrenmillaram.com/news/residents-hoodwinked-over-speed-camera-promise-evo-triangle
If this app becomes popular, it will reach far more people than Evo Magazine ever has.
Like I said, I hope the app fails or is banned.

Happy Thursdays @MartinLexus !
Certainly wouldn’t be a ‘HAPPY THURSDAY’ if you lived on a road which some app listed as a great ‘drive’ (aka raceway!).

Sorry if I was unclear. Not an online record of the driving itself. Just a record of the route (so a bit different to Strava).
For example I live just south of London in Cobham (Surrey). To get to my parents in Worthing (Sussex) - I can take the a24, but if I’m not worried about time and I want to enjoy the drive a little more, there’s a route from mine that takes in lots of little roads through the Surrey hills that still gets me to Worthing but is an absolute blast in my RCF.
Now unless you grew up in the Surrey hills there’s very little likelihood you would take this route - so it’s nice to share.
Similarly next time I go to Nottingham to see a mate of mine there will be the M and A road route, but a user might share a good driving road I can try out instead.
Still seems like a stupid idea to me.
it could wind up locals and bring too much attention to a stretch of road.
Evo Triangle. I rest my case.
I hope it gets banned

Seems like a terrible idea to me.

Is it available in the Uk yet?

I don’t think I’d want an LC as an every day car. There are so many cars that do the job better.
Also, as already said, the German equivalents are now leagues ahead in terms of infotainment systems and also performance.
LC500 is a stunning car, but personally I’d save money, buy any F car and run a nice luxury daily as well.

I think I’d go for a Saab or a Mazda

Sorry I am a real technophobe and have no idea what you are advising me to do. Can you elaborate please?
What browser are you using?

I can assure you that you can delete ALL cookies perfectly safely. If you've stored passwords in your browser (not the best idea) it will auto populate it anyway.
For this site it only needs to know if you're logged in or not. For shopping carts it just keeps track of what's in your basket etc.
It makes me smile when people share screen shots as one can look at the targeted adverts and see what they have been recently looking at.
Yeh - that is funny 😜
Mine would be really sad, fishing adverts and cars!
-
If you know what cookies to delete then fine, but don’t assume that all users have the necessary knowledge to make the right decision.

It's also how they track you around the internet, log what sites you've visited and build information about you. But yes, it supposed to help with your settings etc.
So yes it will need you to log in again but that's not a bad thing, once you log in a new cookie is generated. It is worth deleting cookies in case one is dodgy. There are good cookies and bad cookies. I delete almost daily.
If reluctant to delete then install another browser and try that as it won't have any cache or cookies.
Yes - a simplistic view
You don’t need to install another browser. Nearly all browsers have Private Browsing / Incognito / etc

Hi Martin, it's hard to say, I have not driven all of the current Lexuses so not sure, I would love to try GS-F and RX-450h if I could afford one.
What about you?
Hmmmm - I’m struggling 😁
Probably a luxury RX450h - but I do like the LC500 cars.
No - I said it had to be one - sonit would have to be an RX!

I believe that’s how websites remember who you are

If you had to live with one Lexus from the current range, what would it be?
Your choice should be based on the vehicle that does all you want most of the time.
Probably not an easy question to answer as no one car satisfies all moods and occasions - but a little fun nevertheless 👍

Clear browser cache always a good start
Sent from my BV5800 using Tapatalk
Be very careful doing this. By all means clear cached files and images, but DO NOT clear everything e.g. cookies

I leave my keys by the front door, if they are that keen to have my car and break in, I would rather they do that without disturbing me and the missus
Exactly this!
I suspect I’d have to pay someone to rob my aging GS 😂

I am not so sure this will be the case, as battery technology changes rapidly at the mo.
Try buying a OEM grade battery for 10 year old mobile phone or DSLR, and you are more than likely to end up buying a less robust Chinese copy which keeps it charge for as long as it takes a cup of tea to cool down.
I wonder if at some point we we start to see independent battery specialists popping up to maintain the Pruis or 600 as a classic car??
Yes - good point 👍
-
Surely as time goes buy, replacing Battery packs will become a less expensive process?
