  1. No they supplied new sensors in the price, I have kept the original wheels and tyres untouched.
  2. Thanks, I'll have to get my thinking cap on and try to understand.
  3. Thanks I've been buggering around for at least an hour looking for it, I'll try again. Found the button not exactly easy to find, problem is I've gone through the procedure and zero nothing registered. So either they are defective or not there.
  4. Well I've tried to find the menu in settings and the button which is said to be located behind the dash but I can't for the life of me find anything.
  5. I agree, although it's done now 265 will be the replacements. It looks like my TPMS refuses to acknowledge the new set up, on the actual tyre pressure screen the pressures are blank then if i drive I get the small tyre inflation symbol flash then stay on. Is there a procedure to 'tune in' the new units? Took this yesterday to give an idea of proportions both disc to wheel and wheel arch gap, still think lips/extensions will be the answer.
  6. You're right they do look a little stretched the fronts are 255/30/20 on a 9.5 rim I ought to do a check to ensure they are okay I'm guessing it was the only size made. The rears are 10.5 with 285/30/20. Just checked on a tyre/wheel site 9-9.5 for the 255 tyre. I'd have thought Delroy would have got it right. 7. Took some better photos today, the first one was me trying to be 'arty' and failed playing with the light/shade. Also note the £12 e-bay rear diffuser.
  8. Thanks I've sent off a couple of e-mails to both, although I like the carbon fibre rears that a forum member here is about to sell.
  9. Have you been able to get a space for our F cars?
  10. I agree, and to me the wheel arch gap is as important as rear disc diameter to wheel size, another bee in my bonnet so to speak, as irrational as it may be to some people it's fairly important to me. I have no doubt getting it right in my eyes is probably going to cost way more than it's actually worth but I've started the ball rolling. Just hope the next buyer of my car appreciates what I've done. Many years ago I attended a car show where some American car on show had 22 inch open design wheels and discs the size of tea saucers, I looked at it and started to laugh it wasn't long before other attendees also got the point and laughed too the owner wasn't amused but one hopes he saw the light.
  11. Thanks, I've decided the wheel arches are too big, I know lowering it would help but with AVS the warranty could be a problem. Plus the wheels protrude very slightly so the extensions/lips would possibly do both.
  12. Excellent news, I found as time passed I liked the car even more something I'd only experienced in my M5 back in the 80"s. I've not really had any problems with the infotainment system sounds as good as you can get in a car. Quicksilver essential for N/A V8 lovers.
  13. Thanks very nice, just had a look further down the list is there a front lip as well as the back or will it fit the front too?
  14. I've ordered a set of those off e-bay or at least i think they are the same. The problem I have is that the car needs to be lowered really, but with AVS I don't want to take the chance of falling foul of the warranty on something so expensive. So I thought I could try this type of lip/extension see if it looks okay and maybe get some made in proper carbon fibre. I think I've started an expensive customisation project. Correction those are not the cheap e-bay things and might just suit my needs as detailed by Lexus Parts Direct.
  15. Does anyone know of any wheel arch extensions that will fit the RCF.
  16. Thanks, Delroy at Prestige Wheels was really helpful in ordering the wheels because I wanted the front wheels to near match the rears with the concave angle.
  17. Indeed my black RX7 had matt bronze Wedsport wheels and I always liked the look, it has to be satin/matt bronze otherwise it may look a bit 'pimp my ride' and be mistaken for gold. This time I trawled the internet to find red RCf's with bronze wheels, luckily our fellow USA based owners on their forum seem to like aftermarket wheels more than we do plus there seems to be a lot more cars there so choosing the right wheels was a bit easier.
  18. Thanks, I adjusted the contrast on the photo to show the wheels a little better. here are a couple of close ups.
  19. It was nice to meet up with Deron today at Prestige Wheels. Here is a photo of them, it was a bit dull and overcast but as soon as the sun comes out I'll post some more. I am really pleased with them, they are of superb quality and I love the way they 'step up' at the back giving the impression the discs are larger than they appear. I'd like to thank Delroy at Prestige Wheels for guiding me through the process of buying so that I got a concave design on the front as well as the rear that makes it look so much better. The Michelin Pilot Sports 4s's are pretty damn good too. I took it easy for 100 miles then had a chance to try them on the twisty bits no complaints from me. Whats more I haven't ruined the ride on normal setting I don't think there is any difference.
