  1. My thoughts exactly, unless of course four doors are a must.
  2. Although I was looking forward to seeing the LC F I agree with malcolmw the LC is plenty fast enough for road use. I also think that the market it was aimed at is probably more than catered for at the moment with German marques. Not sure about the spoiler though, perhaps Lexus should just stick to the formula that works i.e. quirky cars like the RC F and LC, after all I still think the RCF Track Edition was a waste of time, just call it a Sport version. As I mentioned earlier for the price of the Track Edition you could buy a decent late secondhand RC F then do what I did some time ago if you really want to go on track buy a VX220 Turbo or Caterham you'll have much more fun. Plus for the £20K plus you've saved it will insure both cars and get you track day insurance for 10-12 trackdays a year for your choice of track day car.
  3. Another excellent blues artist playing live as they seem to do best.
  4. Yes I saw that yesterday not too far away from me either
  5. Hello and welcome, I was once the proud owner of this Bathurst X, and of course spent a fortune with Chris and Geoff down at RE-Worx. Loved the car but after a few track days at Castle Coombe decided it needed a V-Mount next, but I'd had it a year and someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse so I sold it.
  6. Forgot and one GSF owner in and around Hampshire
  7. Welcome, there are a few RCF owners down here in Hampshire.
  8. Just watched it too, as usual with Savagegeese an excellent video
  9. When you can fill up with premium unleaded from Sainsbury's for 1.06 a litre it's criminal not to use the car
  10. Sorry not very clear, I just wondered where the air flow coming into the cut-away was from.
  11. Just checking, so this covers the existing air intake to stop heat soak? is that correct? how much was it?
  12. Excellent news, I've never been that keen on the dealer cleaning my car and always ask them not to clean it. It'll be good to know another RCF is blasting about the area.
  13. Hope I'm not going off topic too much but here are a couple of phots of mine excuse the one of the rear speakers the sun was playing havoc on my David Bailey moment,
  14. I think Lexus may have a winner on their hands here, unlike previous Lexus soft-tops it looks good from every angle. I wonder what the Regatta model has. It needs these wheels though
  15. Yes I think the colour of both your car and this one is great, with the right detailing the colour really 'pops' I'm assuming it is a pearlescent yellow finish. Might be a tad on the feminine side in that colour though.
  16. I agree about the warranty having just re-newed mine for 2 years at £995.The cost for the LC would certainly be a factor for consideration in the future. As with the RCF the wheel arch gap is way too big for my likings.
  17. I think it's okay, but its market must be the USA not wet old UK. Call me tight but I'd rather buy a 2013-5 AMG SL63 for about £40K I had one of the N/A Sl63's and really liked it, ugly as f*** outside but a nice interior and decent roadholding, plus with the roof up and the suspension set on comfort you could travel miles in luxury. I guess when its been around a while the LC will become a good secondhand buy like the RCF.
  18. No I didn't see it but I kept around the front reception area. That's a pain for you having a problem so early in ownership, reminds me of my neighbour from many years back who had an old Mini and rats or mice had eaten the plastic on the wiring. He told me ages after that he thought it might have been me sabotaging his car. I told him he must be a *****r to even think I'd be bothered to do such a thing, never got on that well after. I have found Hedge End to be very good so far so I hope you get yours will be back and running, a very tall chap serviced mine and seems to be into cars.
  19. Indeed, forgot to welcome you Erik as a new owner. Don't forget Sport + and the paddles for changing gear. Sod the fuel consumption it makes very little difference and at £1.06 for Sainsbury's premium why not
  20. Thanks, I did have a good look at the rear parcel speaker not long after buying it as the guy who does some of my car electrics was going to upgrade it. They are the green coloured speakers that were by all accounts a later spec (hope I've got that right)
  21. I had my RCF serviced the Thursday of last week the 28th. Did seem a bit strange as they had a separate room for you to wait and you couldn't look around, I got bored so had a look around the parked cars, no courtesy car either
  22. Didn't know that. Mine states W/O Mark Levinson on the spec sheet but has the centre console Mark Levinson amp and the rear parcel shelf speaker has Mark Levinson on it. I'm a bit confused about that, does it mean it's without or with optional.
  23. Are you sure about the sound system? I thought they all had a Mark Levinson system with an added option speaker system
  24. Rockauto are very good, many moons ago they supplied parts for my Isuzu Vehi-Cross that I just couldn't get in the UK
