  1. Hi, I found this from my GS450h (2008) when installing the GTA's bluetooth adapter: Looks like some kind of an iPod adapter? It also has AUX IN (RCAs)... If you need one, PM me... BR, Sami
  2. That is very true... another option is to go a local tire shop and ask them to scan the codes from the wheels (I had to do this when my summer tires were coded twice to the TPMS ECU and all winter tires' codes were missing...). Note also that "Check System" message does not mean low pressure of a wheel. It means that one (or more) sensor cannot be read at all. If all sensors are ok and you have a flat tire, the message is something like "Low pressure tire"... Sami
  3. TPMS System fault cannot be cleared with TechStream. If you have a) wrong ID coded to ECU, or b) completely dead sensor, the fault will be visible in the dashboard... TechStream will show more details, e.g. which sensor is not sending... Sami
  4. Thanx Chris111! Then I need to start the further investigation...
  5. Getting quite dark here in Finland... luckily Lexus has put lots of lights into our cars, but the center console in my 450h looks pretty dark (see picture). The VSC-button or the Sports-button do not have any lights... should they? BR. Sami
  6. Problem solved. I let the pros to do the hub change and they managed to take the speed sensor apart from the axle carrier. Just a bit more force and some wiggling required...
  7. Hi experts! I tried to replace the rear wheel hub from my GS 450h 2008 (yes, the bearing is gone), but failed to remove the ABS sensor... Is there a trick to get that apart? I removed the bolt and the tried every trick I has in my pocket, but failed badly... I didn't use much force as it is plastic part. Best Regards, Sami
  8. Hi! Cleaning of the alloys is really easier, I guess I was lucky with those alloys :-) I've not done (yet) many mods, but you are right: I've changed the front brake rotors. The brakes were a bit shaking the car, so I decided to change the pads and rotors. The real root cause was one seized/stuck pad. Those discs are made by Zimmerman (the Sports discs). I 'm planning to do the same for the rear brakes too...
  9. You mean this kind of pic? At least I can easily fit my fingers between the caliper and allow...
  10. ...and here is one picture more
  11. Battery seems to charge well and the hybrid system gives quite nice increase to the performance 😉 I have been also a bit worried about the battery lifetime, but after reading those threads about battery cell changes, I'm pretty confident that the hybrid system is not going to cause big issues... (fingers crossed)
  12. Not sure about the alloys, at least I've not changed them. They do have Lexus logo, so I've been assuming that they are original ones. I of course have second set of allows for winter tires, and they are not original.
  13. Just wanted to say "hi" to you all! I recently bought a 2008 GS 450h and I've to say it is an amazing car! Luckily I also found this forum: it has already provided lots of useful information for me... BR. Sami
