  1. why does it tax as pre 2001?
  2. Morning all, I am looking into the possibility of having a duck bill bootlid made for my ISF (think along the lines of the E36 M3 CSL) something subtle that is actually part of the bootlid rather than stuck on, likely to be available in GRP or full carbon. Are any of you guys interested?
  3. I run Pirelli Soto Zero on my ISF
  4. no, the real problem is there isnt another V8 IS available in the UK, hybrid is utter dog ****, its one or the other, otherwise you are just carrying around unnecessary weight, smiles per gallon, V8 still wins
  5. i think you could be right, taken it out in the dry today and its fine, they are relatively inexpensive, so will get a set and bang them in when i change the pads
  6. spoke to soon, the lights are back
  7. thought i would share this as i thought it might be useful for others. Driving back from Birmingham the other night i was greeted with lots of lovely warning lights, after several hours of research I hoped I had found the issue and happy to report I was correct, took the car to a local tyre shop, had the tracking done and BOOM! All lights are gone!
  8. It will be absolutely fine, fortunately fuel availability doesnt seem too bad round here now
  9. Hi Richard, i might potentially be selling mine, what kind of time frame are you looking at?
  10. i ran out of brakes here
  11. totally agree with your principle on tyres, unless you are actually wanting to promote understeer/oversteer, brake pads however dont feel this is an issue, i have on many cars ran more aggressive pads on the front (assuming they are more aggressive?) without any issues, will be trying it on the ISF in the coming weeks
  12. sorry ignore me, its the other way round, it wont blow hot if low on coolant
  13. check you coolant level
  14. potentially interested , but i think you car is over priced, there are newer with less miles available for around the £9k mark
  15. there is a guy on ebay breaking an ISF, maybe see if he still has one, search breaking ISF
  16. Im on BC Racing, but went with 14k front 10k rear and that still quite firm for uk roads
  17. if cracked they can still be repaired, sand the cracked area until the dust is just black (instead of white, with a small brush coat with resin, leave to dry, block it flat and apply clear coat.
  18. if its a real carbon fibre, which it appears to be, a body shop could very easily flat and rear clear them, i have a recently re-done my rear spoiler under the guidance of a friend that used to manufacture carbon parts at Prodrive
  19. Myself and @Cezar had a trip to South Wales at the weekend, we visited Elon Valley and the Devils Staircase, would highly recomend!
  20. i am confused, you are concerned about the height in a sunroof car, but want a sunroof car?
  21. no, but i still dont have problems even with a helmet on i think i have 3 inches
  22. i am 6" 2' and not even close to the roof
  23. i would be absolutely amazed if they dont make jigs and fixtures, if your making more than a 1 off it makes zero sense not to
