  1. just thought, do these cars tell you when there is a bulb out? as mine isn't, so is this more likely to be the ballast than the bulb?
  2. just noticed one of the bulbs have gone on the ISF, any recommendations?
  3. a sneak peak of the new rear spoiler
  4. im up for a set of fronts providing I still have a job😤
  5. are you not having a set yourself? ie 8 to go? lol
  6. I don't fully understand the RR racing route, do you have to buy a $700 plug in then they can send you the maps? if I went to SRD does this negate the cost of the plug in bit? otherwise I don't see the point?
  7. From what I have seen on the American forums, these are for us.....
  8. nice one Dan, I had actually considered the exact same wheels! Look forward to seeing them on the car
  9. my detailing guy said quite the opposite
  10. sounds like a job for a professional to me as you will need to remove the coating
  11. mate, I have had 2 previous black cars and vowed and declared I would never have another, yet here I am! bite the bullet dude, its super hard coating that will at minimum prevent it getting worse for the next 18-24 months!!
  12. two problems here, we don't run open springs, so would need to remove the first half from either end to have comparable results, in terms of overall length The figures you are stating is the weight required on a shorter spring Vs a longer spring over the same distance for the same compression, so again is not compatible, this needs to be ratioed to the longer length if a single coil takes10kg to compress 1 inch, how much does it take to compress 2 coils 1 inch? Your measuring load, not spring rate
  13. /this is the first time I have had a car ceramic coated, I was really astonished at the finish it gives, its literally like having a layer of glass over your paintwork! my detailing guy has advised so long as I don't take take to a car wash where they use truck was it will last around 2 years, without additional waxing, I asked about waxing and has you mentioned, most waxes contain solvents, so advised long lasting waxes that you can layer, this will build another sacrificial layer before the ceramic, I have always been a fan of the Bilt Hamber stuff so will be hitting it with some of that at the weekend the paint on these cars is soooooo soft, it really needs a hard layer!!
  14. I have just had mine ceramic coated and I am super pleased with it its stay clean for too much longer now and even rain washes away most dirt! looking forward to seeing your pics
  15. this calculation only apples if retaining the same spring length! 'stiffness' would remain the same, assuming they are non-progressive springs
  16. guess what I will be doing next weekend......
  17. From personal experience I would avoid lowering springs on standard shocks, as the spring rates are never matched to the valving of the shocks, usually resulting in a bouncy or harsh ride, it also means that the shock sits much lower in its effective stroke meaning the valving looses much of its operating range
  18. I leave my keys by the front door, if they are that keen to have my car and break in, I would rather they do that without disturbing me and the missus
  19. I am sooooo pleased with it so much better than I had hoped, the hours Lea put in was unreal!!!
  20. out in the sunshine today 😎
  21. I had the Nokians on my Clio 200, they were sooooo good, ran good year F1's as summer tyres and on the colder months with the Nokians barely noticed a difference, in the snow however a was blown away by how much grip they have!!!
  22. just picked her up from the detailers she is looking good for a 10 year old!!!
