  1. Lee - RCF ownership with kids may not be as bad as you think. it depends on two things really 1. How tall you and the Mrs are 2. How old are your kids I’m over 6ft, but can still get my daughter aged 12 sat behind me. The Mrs is 5 footish and can comfortably get our 16 year old sat in the back behind her. Obviously, if you are going to use the F as the primary family car, forget the RCF
  2. I'm a non F owner, but have driven them all (apart from the LFA), I see the F range as follows - IS-F - Possibly could be a classic - but not sure it stands out enough. At the time it hit the market, it really didn't get the recognition it deserved. GS-F - Most difficult to predict for me. As good as the RC-F - no doubt, but with 4 doors I don't think it has the impact of the RCF. RC-F - Seems to be getting lots of good press recently. Being a two door coupe, I think it is a strong contender RC-F Carbon - as the RC-F, but this car seems to be the daddy and the most rare. My money is on the RC-F Carbon.
  3. That sounds great. I would love to have seen some F cars! Unfortunately I can't make it,
  4. Here's another thought. Rather than make cars more efficient, how about making it so that cars travel less miles per year. How about making it possible for more people to work from home? Also has the benefit of easing the need to new road infrastructure.
  5. All quite sad. Fat cats getting fatter and destroying the planet at the same time. Best bit is that their latest marketing push (the electric car) makes it sound like they are doing the plant a favour. What a laugh!
  6. I guess BHP is relative. To me 400+ bhp sounds overkill - but I'd love to have it 😉
  7. Absolutely. There are so many parts in a car that never wear out. Seems crazy that every few years people replace the whole car!
  8. Just ask a policeman to follow you at 76mph as his speedo should be calibrated 😁
  9. Very interesting. I've always thought that car manufacturers should be forced to develop their vehicles so that they support a plug n play architecture. In the world of computers things are designed to be easily replaced e.g. new hard drive, new video card etc. Wouldn't be great if the car industry worked in the same way. For example, when a new more efficient engine is available, a consumer can just get it fitted to their existing car rather than replacing the whole vehicle. The economic cost of manufacturing new vehicles must be enormous!
  10. Voice control on my Lexus is dire. I gave up in the end
