I don't know but if you've already bought them just bung them in and see if things work - they either will or they won't. At least they'll be nicer to sit on than your existing ones. If they don't, you may be able to do it yourself using Techstream.

I've seen a lot of taxi drivers use these beaded seat covers if that's what you're thinking of.

Don't know if you can get them for a CT but yes, very easy to install - don't even need a screwdriver. Simply pry out the existing light and pull the wiring connector off, plug the connector into new light and push back in. Simples!

Yeah, I'm beginning to realise that now. Still, given the Covid situation it made sense to do a trade-in because we just drive up in the old one and drive out in the new one, no hassle or bother with public transport etc. Good luck in your search my friend.

Hey that's great Ken, excellent I know I'm obviously biased but it really is in great condition. It was sold brand new by Teeside and has been serviced by them for all its life, including the hybrid health checks. MOT as you say is due on 2nd August. I have to confess that it got out of step because I completely forgot when it was due and I was late having the test done. Tyres are Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen 2 all round with plenty of tread. The 12V battery may be on the downward slope, I really don't know. Standing voltage is usually about 12.3V which is 70% charge, and I'm almost sure it's the original. Apart from that there really is nothing else wrong with it. I'm sure you'll have seen my topic about how I installed a more convenient jump start socket in the cabin? I made up a special lead for that so I'll leave both the lead and also the battery pack itself for you as I've ordered a new pack for the new car. When the insurance was due about 6 or 7 weeks ago and we realised how much the car is now worth, we thought now may be about time to swap to a newer model before we lose too much value from this one and that's literally the only reason we're changing, so I'm confident that you'll be happy with it. They're giving us £14k for it so I think Ed will be close - I thought £16k to £16.5K.

Yes, it's safe to do just the fronts as the RX isn't a 4WD/AWD in the traditional sense so it's not a problem. I've got Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen 2 all round on mine and noise is really not an issue, very quiet. However, full transparency and all that, I have to say that I'm a huge music lover and always have the radio or other media playing so maybe I'm just not noticing it.

We'll be trading ours in to Lexus Teeside next week - doing the handover on Wednesday. It's an Advance SE so no Levinson system but it's a very nice motor with 52k on the clock and FLSH. It may be worth considering if you don't see anything else.

Just completed the paperwork and returned by email this afternoon, so the wheels are already turning and the machine is in motion, so to speak.

David sold us our existing RX and also this new one too. I have to say I'm very impressed both with David personally and with the whole dealership in general.

I know what you mean David and if it was a private transaction I would feel the same way, but I just don't see why anyone would be secretive about how much they've paid when it's already in the public domain. The old saying "There's nowt as queer as folk" is quite true though. A life-long friend of mine and his wife have no idea how much each of them earns. They have a joint account for bills and suchlike but other than that he has his account and she has hers and neither of them knows what goes in or out of the other's. Seems a strange way to live to me, but hey-ho.....

No, that's not our old one Ken. We've only put the deposit on this morning and we're doing the handover on Wednesday. If you want to keep your eyes open the reg no. of our old one is NU63 EKP.

Cheers David I don't mind saying how much, after all it's publicly available on the website - it's just short of £33,000 and it's a 2018 Luxury, one owner, FLSH. They gave us £14,000 trade in, which I was a bit disappointed with as Webuyanycar valued it at £13,750, but at least it takes the hassle away - just drive up in the old one and drive away in the new one.

Just put a deposit down on this beauty at Lexus Teeside EDIT - I asked if this model (it's a 2018 Luxury) was valid for the Android Auto installation and he said that it's capable but they haven't yet got the hardware to retrofit the RX. I forgot to ask him if that was just Lexus Teeside or if he meant that there are no dealers anywhere in the country who can fit it to an RX yet, so does anyone know?

Just happened to see a very nice 4RX Luxury today and so my good lady wifey and I are currently having a think about the possibility of weighing in our current Series 3 if we can get the figures to work. We currently have an Advance but I know there is no Advance variant in the Series 4. My question is, are there any differences within the Luxury variant or is a Luxury a Luxury? Also, we've seen some adverts mention 'Premium Nav' and some just state 'Nav' so is there a difference there and if so, what is it?

I've never seen a red 4RX in the flesh so to speak, only photos on Autotrader. The descriptions only ever say that the colour is 'Red' so my question is, is this what I've seen referred to as 'Mesa Red' or are there other variants of red on the 4RX? And also, if it is Mesa Red, is that a metallic colour because the photos I've seen tend to make it look like a 'flat' colour?
