  1. The only "safe" way of going about it i'm afraid is to make sure the lowering springs that you decide to go with has rates that is within the specifications of the AVS shocks. Swift springs are highly reputable and can provide you with custom spring rates for your needs i believe. As always, these things do come with "proceed with caution". Oh and the Artisan Spirits wheel arch extension is quite pricey. Maybe the cost of a JDM piece might be easier to swallow. Although they don't cover as much of the wheel arch as the Artisan Spirits. They are body colour painted and are $180 + shipping costs for a pair.
  2. They look fantastic @B1RMA David. I think the red paint and bronze wheel matches really well and spot on with going with concave wheels 👍 Hope to see it in person soon.
  3. Still working it on mate 😂😂
  4. Thank you John for the explanation. My current battery is 70 amp/hr as well so i should be looking to get a higher capacity as well then with the right size. There's just so much to choose from. What would you say would be a good brand to go with?
  5. I was wondering if anyone has any idea if our car can use an AGM battery? Modern cars have a lot of electronics that draws power even when it's just parked in a garage so i find myself having to hook up a trickle charger to keep it happy otherwise it goes flat if i don't use the car for more than a week. AGM batteries supposedly lasts longer and i was wondering if it could mitigate this issue by the use of one. Going through the owner's manual was no help. Any input or experience with AGM batteries is greatly appreciated.
  6. Welcome to the club @JMAX1888 James, looking forward to seeing your pride and joy.
  7. Looks really good. Nice touch to the overall rear end.
  8. Congrats on the RCF. Saw it yesterday when my car was in for a service. I too noticed it was Paul's car when i saw it. It did look pretty amazing with the black wheels and orange calipers (the only combination in UK i think). I believe Paul did mention that he's taken the quicksilver exhausts off his car but is being sold used at the very same dealer. So you might want to ask them about the exhaust and possibly have them fitted for you before you take the car. 2 birds 1 stone if you will.
  9. Congrats, stunning car and nice choice on colour. Absolutely spot on! Seen these on roads and has always caught my eyes.
  10. Odd that they wouldn't deliver to a potential buyer. I had my GSF delivered to my doorstep by Lexus Liverpool 😊 my part exchange vehicle was valued by them through pictures i sent to them via email. Great service by the dealer and hassle free purchase.
  11. Your RCF is going to sound properly insane 😂. Congrats 👍
  12. Mine does not have AVS fitted. But i find the ride very compliant for a performance car with a fixed damper. I have to say they've done a very good job at tuning the damping and quit happy with the ride for a young family car. I'm sure the AVS will greatly improve on this though.
  13. As @B1RMA has mentioned regarding the AVS. Easiest way is to look out for the top mount. It will have these if it's equipped with AVS. Having ownership for almost a year, car has been pretty faultless. Maybe look out for paint condition and make sure there isn't significant paint chips and that tyres are stock Michelin Pilot Super Sport, as they can be indicators if the car has seen rough track use.
  14. Left my GSF for a week while i was on holiday. Battery got too weak to start and like you had to call Lexus Assist. Have no idea why it uses up alot of the battery power while parked though. So now i always put it trickle charger when i'm away.
  15. If i was after an AMG i'd make sure i get a proper 63 ones. I'm sure the 43 is loads of fun but i feel at the end of the day it's more a Mercedes than it is an AMG if that makes any sense 😅 There's just something special about a proper V8 AMG's. Having said that, the M5's and E63 AMG was in my price range when i got my GSF. And i think i got it right because i still feel like i just bought the car yesterday 😁
  16. That is a good question. Proper AMGs are supposed to be of a "One man, one engine" philosophy. Are the one's below the 63 also of this philosophy? They do market the C43 as an AMG though.
  17. Hello @Lexus-crazy welcome to the forum. Here's a few options for you. 1) Artisan spirits They do bodykits for the RCF http://artisanspirits.co.jp/car-lineup/lexus/rc-f/rc-f_sl-bl/index.html 2) Seibon Carbon parts http://seiboncarbon.co.uk/products.html/?find=2015-lexus-rc-f-315545 3) Rowen Japan They have a full kit for the RCF pretty aggressive looks. https://www.nengun.com/rowen/lexus-rc-f-aero-parts 4) Voltex GT If you really want to turn heads, then you can go for the Voltex Carbon GT Wings 5) Varis They have a bodykit for the RCF https://www.nengun.com/varis/lexuc-rc-f-body-kit
  18. Car looks great. Big fan of the Viper when i was a kid (especially in red) and it has always amazed me how they were able use such a big displacement engine into the car.
  19. That looks really good @Twellsie
  20. I'd pick the LC, because when i was in the market for a car last year the RCF was in the shortlist but ultimately a GSF won over simply because i liked the sharper design lines of the car and better interior and the LC has this in abundance.
  21. Can't wait to find out what is and what coming from an ex F owner does to how you view other automotive brand ownership.
